I wish I could say more but I’m deep in R&D on a system that is unobtrusive, Will mount the light near the muzzle and comfortably mount a remote switch near the handguard. It also takes down with no tools.
Im not ready to disclose more, and this isn’t a plug, but if you want details in the future you can sign up on my newsletter at www.rxarms.com (I only email out once every few months when new products are available).
Lol no mention of the glass, window size, battery life, top or bottom battery loading, dependability, etc. just "its cheap and comes with a mount".
BRB going to replace all my RMRs and T2s.
say more... I think I've tried every possible light mounting solution out there (and some custom ones) and have yet to find something that's "just right" for me. I want to mount the light further ahead to minimize/eliminate shadow while being able to tuck in as close to the barrel/mag tube as possible (preferably right in between the barrel/tube) for a streamlined look, while being strong enough to take the recoil/beating. Curious to see what you come up with!
Can’t you use Esstac shotgun cards? Or are you only allowed to use this side armour brand? Seems like a lot of effort for a heavier and more bulky system.
RX Arms makes a riser system for the collapsible stock. I haven't tried one, but they look pretty straight forward.

I would go with the 10mm height riser. 2.5mm probably isn't worth the trouble. This is a 10mm one I put on a member's build year or two ago.
“I’m a gunsmith” so is half of the people on this forum. Not sure why you keep bringing up how many mediocre optics you have. Bragging about cheap optics is about the same as someone bragging about their hi point collection. no body gives a shit and it doesn’t give you slightest bit of credibility. It’s actually pretty comical if it wasn’t so sad.
