  1. Several options for 922r , CC ti US mag tube, US follower, US Stock, US hand guards, 3 US FCG parts, US trigger housing. If you use the collapsible C stock, and 7rd tube. You have to replace 4 parts and no paperwork required. 922r it’s self is subjective to debate. I’ve saw several conflicting ATF “interpretations” so I guess it applies to whichever letter you follow. As for 922r parts , when replacing parts make sure they are as good or better than you are replacing. the Carrier comp Titanium tube and supplied follower is GTG, the FFT hand guards are acceptable with a little fitting, the aluminum trigger housing is a good option as well. I avoided swapping FCG parts because I’ve heard if issues with some of those. Regardless how ever you choose to approach it there’s an option.

  2. I have a IWI QD mount and fastlight mount. It locks in super easy and super crazy comfortable. It isn t as solid as some other lights but i like it a lot. It sits close to ur gun and it is made for easy use. It has a momentary on and off, regular on and off, and strobe. It is super easy to use. I hate the wml but the wmlx are one of my favorite light. I have prob 300 rds of buckshot, slugs, and birdshot. It doees have thee wheel that secures it but it is kinda like a clamp. It is pretty secure. It is bright too. They are so streamline and isn t in the way at all.

  3. Newbie here. Wanted to thank the folks in this thread for all the information regarding the tube removal and install. Just got a M4 and it was stupid easy to remove the OEM tube on mine. Heat gun on low setting (450 F) and I only had it on the receiver for like 2 minutes as I wanted to test if it would move at all and it turned just using my hands. The red lock tite didn't even melt but pretty much crumbled off. 99% of it was on the tube threads and basically nothing on the receiver threads. Wiped off all the crumbled pieces and the new tube (DMW) went on easy. Also, DMW tube is great! Got it in like 4 days after ordering on his site and while it may not be as nice as the FFT, CC or Briley, for 115 bucks, you can't beat it and he actually had them in stock. I'm sure the titanium tubes from FFT (honestly think they are way over priced) and CC (reasonably priced but 3-4 month wait) are nice but DMW tube is exactly what I wanted at a price that is very reasonable. For any other newbies like me, here are the parts to make it 922r compliant. DMW tube - 115 DMW follower - 19 FFT forend - 70

  4. Mine is ordered so I haven't seen it; but from the above, and the advice of an instructor who I think ran it - the $80 mounting plate is Remington; but the $20 shell-holding part is straight Velcro. I believe you buy 2" 4' velcro strips off of Amazon to stick to the gun, and you velcro the Vang $20 part on.
