  1. Not meaning to disrespectful here, in review of more than 25 SBE Classics & SBE 3's in inventory, every Benelli has the same offset. I currently am working on 2 SBE II's 2 M1 Super 90's, 2 SBE 3's, 2 Franchi Affinity 3's, they all have the same offset. I am including a photo of a un fired SBE 3. SBE 3.
  2. My recommendations: Discontinue Ghost loading Replace Carrier Latch Remove 5 shot extension, reinstall OEM magazine tube and OEM Spring Why: Some/most extension builders are not revising the Magazine Springs to meet requirements to not only function with the product line but this in consideration with the Gun Manufacturers Carrier Latch Design and strength. Most Carrier Latches I replace, many per year have one thing in common, extended magazine tubes. I build M4 with magazine extensions as well using the correct parts and calibrated magazine springs. Stranger Danger and Steve Rose are great resources on this forum how to do this correctly.
  3. This is normal, most SBE II classics as well as SABE 3's will have the same offset.
  4. Received some very fresh 11707's, these were the original black color. I have seen several deviations in parts selections for different Benelli/Franchi firearms, it would be safe to say sourcing parts is challenging.
  5. This has been very common all of the M4's coming to retail stores as of late, model 11707
  6. Hello ENON If you give me a couple days I can check both of the models you have listed and see if the Sport high rib will fit on a 828U 30".
  7. Roadrunnner, did you make any progress with your cycling issues?
  8. What year was your SBE 3 built, very interested.
  9. Can you take a photo of this. The threads on the recoil spring tube are either 19 MM or 21 MM depending on the year the gun was built.
  10. Did you heat the recoil spring tube plug assembly which would loosen the locktite? The trick is to hold the recoil spring tube without marring it up when removing plug assembly. Having worked on close to 900 Benelli I had a press built which clamps down on the tube and is hard rubber coated. Please let me know if you have any questions.
  11. Hi Mike, You more than likely have a bent carrier latch if you have a extended magazine, most extended magazine kits do not calibrate the Magazine Spring correctly thus causing damage to the carrier latch. I replace several.. too many of these every year, mostly damaged by extended magazine & calibration. Here is a photo of the carrier latch. Part 63 Please let me know if you would like instructions on how to remove it. You will more than likely need to replace the part as well.
  12. This is a very nice gun, you would be getting the following over the base SBE 3 Rob Roberts Choke tubes plus OEM Hi Viz front sight Unique cerakote color Rob Roberts Precision Forcing Cone Benelli Large Carrier Latch Button Benelli Bolt Handle Polished Slide Polished action Robert Roberts Pattern included with every gun.
  13. Mike, When you press the carrier latch button on the side of the receiver you are moving the carrier latch inward cover more of the magazine tube. You may have debies behind the carrier latch. If I was servicing the gun I would: Remove magazine spring and follower, insuring all of these parts are clean. Remove and check the carrier latch itself, seeing if it is bent. Do you have a extended magazine on the gun? Please let me know if you would like instruction on how to remove the Carrier Latch. Your issues are very minor.
  14. Is your bolt & rails clean? Are you using CLP to very lightly lubricate the bolt upon reassembly? Shouldering the gun? Are you providing good support allowing your inertia system to function?
  15. Mike, you do not need to press the carrier latch to load shells into your magazine. Perhaps our understanding of the correct part terminology is not the same. If you would like to PM me I could provide you with details. Can you load shells into your magazine?
  16. Are you shooting BB's? If so your shells may be out of tolerance. If you would like additional insights please PM me.
  17. Is your M2 releasing multiple shells from the magazine?
  18. Your photo supports the orientation of the Axel Pin on all NEW M4's. I have had several of these missing on brand new guns.
  19. This would be the location it would occur due to barrel restriction's. Here is some notes from a gun that I worked on recently. The barrel has a bulge in in approximately 6.5 from the muzzle, this measure 2 CM, the gun must have been shot with an obstruction in the barrel.
  20. Depending on the retailer that the gun was purchased from. They may have purchased Nova's that cost them less without extra choke tubes. This is fairly common with Special Purchase guns like most American series models.
  21. Please PM me I could assist you with your issue. If your SBE 2 Double feeds you have a bent Carrier Latch. Do you have a extended magazine on it? Will need several other facts about the gun to work through the issue. Please remember your issues are very minor, your gun will cycle "Like New" Thanks
  22. Hi Kris, you could PM me with more details. What kind of Recoil spring did you replace it with? Are you cleaning and lubricating the bolt and rails properly. Looking forward to your questions.
