  1. Did Benelli send you the patterning results after the gun was shot at Benelli USA? Did they include any comments about the results they established during the test shooting? Here is a image of established pellet counts. Remembering the pellet count is taken from the center of the 6" circle target.
  2. Benelli Ultra Light - fantastic gun, big demand, great price, can be converted into left handed safety. Please let me know if you need assistance.
  3. I believe you will need to be more specific about when and why your gun is either not feeding shells from the magazine or is the bolt locking back upon shooting. If it is the later you have one to to three possible issues. 1. Your carrier latch is out of adjustment 2. The drop shells lever was cut, out of spec 3. The trigger guard is out of spec If you would like to PM and would be very willing to assist you.
  4. Your Carrier Latch/Drop shell lever interaction is out of adjustment. Did you add any aftermarket parts to the gun?
  5. Your problem is more than likely the carrier is out of adjustment, the the problem is pretty hard to diagnose unless you seen it a few times. Most "gunsmith's" will have a difficult time figuring this out unless they worked on several Nova's with this condition. If the gun is still under warranty you would be much better to ship it back to Benelli.
  6. Please PM me if you are still in need of assistance.
  7. There is a adjustment which is correctly called the forend adjustment screw. *part number 61592, please pm me if you can not locate it, I will send you a photo. Do not be afraid to get acquainted with your shim adjustment package, MOST 828U fit very few people, out of the box, particularly the 20 Gauge with a 26" barrel.
  8. The Drop Shim Plate is labeled: DX - Right Handed SX - Left Handed The corresponding cast shim labeled DX or SX should then be used after the drop shim when installing these shims between the receiver and the stock. Your sightline should then look like this:
  9. This is what is known as proofing, the gun is then cleaned disassembled, guns such as the M4 have the barrel removed, handguards and bolt removed from the gun and then packed in a retail box in the case of a M4, for shipping. The retailer then assembles guns which are placed on the retail sales racking for customer viewing and handling, you will note this from the photo provided above. Most of not all of the wear happened after the above said steps of assembly by the retailer.
  10. Thank you for introducing a very important topic - your dealer. The photos you introduced are from dealer assembly and dealer handling. This is yet another great example of the dealer you choose. Great dealer support would take care of the customer, such as returns, marking down blemished guns and returning guns to manufacturers when needed. The dealer noted hear removes most if not all of the guns from retail racking daily, thus increased handling.
  11. The width is slightly wider, about 6mm.
  12. How would you like it measured? It is quite narrow, less than SBE 3 12 gauge.
  13. This is a part #39 that does show wear over time if it is not inserted properly, it is not a shipping tab.
  14. It would be listed as part number #39 in Midwest Gun Works, MGW actually the holder of most Benelli small parts. The role of the buffer pad is to keep the bolt assembly positioned in the receiver. It would be wise to get the part replaced however there is very little if any stock on the part number 60873. Call Benelli Warranty and ask them for a new one providing it is still under the Vinci Warranty which is 5 years.
  15. You will need to change the Magazine Spring if you would like it done correctly - Why, you will damage your Carrier Latch with usage. I replace 8 - 10 Carrier Latches per year - most common cause, extended magazines that are not setup correctly. Some after marketers of these products have very little understanding of the cause and effect because they never deal with the effect - bent carrier latches.
  16. Your Bolt Head is clogged with debris, not allowing the firing pin to travel through the bolt head freely. Part 42. Please PM if you would like
  17. Clean the inside of your bolt, debris inside the bolt is not allowing the firing pin to travel through without obstruction.
  18. Your Carrier is out of adjustment, which is not allowing the part to return to typical battery position.

    Benelli M2

Most M2's are pretty tight when installing the fore end/barrel assembly, particularly 20 gauges, if you remove the barrel you should be able to see alignment from the magazine tube inside of the fore end, simply align and pull the fore end off this may require some force.

    Steve Guyer

You have a weak magazine spring and possibly a worn carrier latch.
  21. Purchase a new carrier latch pin from midwest gun parts and install it, part number 60816
