  1. I would contact your online dealer and have them call Benelli and open up a RMA request, they will have the serial number of the gun and all of your particulars as well. Please PM me if you would like, I am in a leadership role for a very large Benelli Dealer.
  2. I have had very good customer acceptance with the Performance Shop front site:
  3. These guns are heavily back ordered, nothing in transit, the March projection is likely if not longer.
  4. I will be sending you a PM much latter today.
  5. The 3" version spec is still 1 1/8oz loads, in many cases, conditions, the gun will shoot lighter loads. The gun is priced $200.00 less than the 3.5 The gun is shorter in length The gun is lighter than the 3.5 The gun balance point thus changes
  6. In your comparison photo of the Magazine Tube Stop ring, what was changed when sent back to Benelli. What was the net effect of the change on the patterning board?
  7. There is no difference between a SBE 3 Performance Center model VS any other SKU. The only notable differences would be lengthened forcing cone, Rob Roberts Choke tubes, polished action, polished trigger group, and accessories. Nothing is done to a PS gun that would align POI VS POA. What shims did Benelli send you. Drop Lock Plate Cast Shim Drop Shim
  8. Every SBE 3 Performance Center has a pattern in the box, tested by Rob Roberts as they customize the gun lengthening the forcing cone and installed choke tubes. I have seen over 100 of these test patterns, all of these patterns show a almost perfect 60/40 pellet count/pattern high. If you would like to PM me I would enjoy trying to assist you.
  9. YES, your case the 10452 12 Gauge would be a great candidate for the Ethos BEST/SBE 3 stock, all of your shims are going to be a direct fit as well.
  10. Have you had the gun fitted to you? A great starting point would be to install your D DX Locking Plate with the D Drop Shim. Very few guns stamped "2017" truly had POA/POI issues, this was isolated to the Barrel Stop Ring - adjustment. Please let me know how I can help.
  11. Sounds like your on the right track with possible plating, I think you are going to find Cerakote will be a efficient process as well as you may never get to the original look anyway.
  12. What is the build date on the gun? How was it stored?
  13. Completely disassemble the gun including the recoil spring, they no longer put lock tite on the recoil spring tube screw/nut this would insure nothing is out of place.
  14. The Ethos chassis guns can be changed from right handed safety to Left Hand. Many who try doing this will crush the safety plunger or the retaining spring upon reinstallation.
  15. Thank you Mary, please let me know about the 26" I will definitely purchase your 26".
  16. It is incorrectly cut either in length, diameter or center engagement diameter.
  17. Please let me know if you would like to sell the 26".
  18. Be very careful about who you would use to extend your stock on any Benelli shotgun. I have had several client guns that when they want to return the gun to OEM stock, the discovery is made that the OEM stock is now destroyed and will not facilitate the return to OEM. Secondly, the Progressive Comfort system will pose a unique challenge for a extension to be installed. There are several Benelli OEM pads available with different LOP.
  19. Please PM me, I could forward you my telephone number if so desired. Thanks
  20. Could you look up the part number - Midwest Gun Parts - Schematic 828U - Benelli,
  21. Hi Larry, I can comment on this tonight, if you could post your photo, that would be great.
  22. Please PM me if you have not removed the barrel from the gun, new guns are very tight, however I would have a method I use frequently.
  23. Please send me a PM, I have a solution for this issue. I have seen this in several guns that I have worked on in the past 20 guns. The effect has not shown in the same way you mentioned but the root cause would be the same. No worries your Benelli will cycle "Like New".
  24. Derek, Truckcop is correct about identifying your gun. If it were my gun, having worked on over 935 Benelli's I would freshen up the gun by removing the recoil spring, replace it, once the locktit is broken you will have the opportunity to clean the recoil spring tube annually. Spring rates very from spring to spring, even if they come from the same lot. I have replaced simo serial number M1's after 1 year and SBE original H&K with pinned recoil spring tube nut/screw after 25 plus years. A great test for any Benelli is shooting directly overhead shots on cold day, your rotating bolt will then have face the force of gravity as it returns into battery. Shouldering, out of tolerance BB's shot shells are other factors that challenge Benelli shotguns, there are other factors as well. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
  25. Please reach out if you may need insights on how to replace your recoil spring.
