  1. polishing is easy i do it all the time when i make custom parts for motorcycles if you realy want to do it i can give you a couple quick tips and you can get every thing at pep boys or any good auto parts store. it will take about 3 hours
  2. unless you gun were very beat up to begin with i would probly look into some kind of sock or tape type thing before going with paint. painting a gun may cause many isues especaly if done wrong some paints are easy to remove with solvents or will chip and look like crap after a while also it will be a real pain in the butt to get rid of if you dont like it. if you use tape or a sock you can always stick some vegitation on it like a gilly suit to realy blend in good luck
  3. i use breakfree clp in all my guns as a maintnence oil and cleaner if im having real problems i will use a product called PB blaster, but a warning about pb it may attack some finnishes so you may want to test it in an un noticeable spot before you spray it all over the place it will bust thew any thing and free up the most gummed up / rusted parts
  4. almost all the birds i get to hunt in pa are stocked buy either the state or privet people and they are quite stupid and slow to jump. also i hunt with a wiem and he usualy stays with in 20-30 yards of me
  5. i use a skeet choke for most upland birds because i like to eat them and it only takes acouple to pellets to kill one . ive seen too many good birds reduced to mush by too much shot. if the bird goes down the dog will get it alive or dead. your best bet (and most expenceve) is to by a couple differnt chokes and pattern your gun on paper at mesured distances. ive found that evan using 7 1/2 shot at 25yd it will still be quite tite and ive seen chuckers explode with a 20gauge shot at 20-30yd
  6. you could use it to bust ice around the boat. or use it as a boat hook.
  7. the reason i asked is i constantly here about barrel leading and wad fouling and stuff like that. ive never had a problem with any of those things. ive shot thousands of cheep lead reloads thew my glock and evan when i do clean it it never seems to be all that dirty (i also carry it alot) evan my shot guns when i shoot skeet i put at least 100 rounds thew it at a time and it never seems to get all that dirty. my father is x army and every time he takes his guns out evan if he dosent fire them he cleans them and makes me clean myn if we go out together. i guess thats just training or bordom im not shure which
  8. 3.5" shells were intended for the military and law enforcement so they could shoot "less than lethal" exotic loads, ie bigger bean bags teargas or just good old flachetts, to take out people wareing body armor. they are also marketed to duck and goose hunters that would have normaly used a 10ga now you only have to buy 1 gun to do many tasks. i personaly feel that its a lot of hype and a 2.75 is just fine for what i do, upland game and clays, heck i usualy shoot the lightest thing i can so i can shoot more cheeper
  9. buy a new barrel and just mesure it and hack it off with a saw i would go with a 20" just to be safe
  10. how often do you clean your guns? and does it have a signifigent effect on the preformance of the weapon?
