  1. They were not tapped for the first year or two of production. They are now.
  2. No problems with mine, and it has spent quite a bit of time sitting in water and muck. I do routinely clean it and apply Armour All.
  3. I like 5's.
  4. Shoot more of the brown ones. Think of it like deer management. Keeping the females in check insures that the males have to be more active when looking for a mate.
  5. I'd be very interested in seeing how much fouling you have on the gas piston when you tear it down for cleaning.
  6. I for one would very much like to see it stay. It's one the best threads we've ever had here.
  7. 8's or 9's for snakes. bb's - 4bk for the kitty.
  8. Very nice work!
  9. You can have your fog. I started down river a couple of years ago in thick fog. I went under the same bridge twice. That's when I parked the boat and waited for daylight.

Once again, common sense rears its ugly head.
  11. Limbsaver makes a pad specifically for the SBEII. The gun should be broken in, but I don't think it will take 200 rounds of 3.5" to do it. More like two or three boxes of heavy field loads. Stay within the recommended load guidelines and you'll have no trouble at all.

  13. Photobucket provides IMG code, but I don't think that will fix your problem. Check the security settings on the album. Log out of Photobucket and see if you can view the images as an anonymous user.
  14. They don't show up here in Chrome, Firefox, IE8, or Safari. I'm thinking it's been covered. Dump your cache and F5.
  15. I colored you crazy some time ago. Try another browser.
  16. Where?....
  17. second one does. Now it's gone....
  18. Yes. Remove the barrel and look in the chamber end. Just past the chamber are the ports. Count them.
  19. OK. As long as you can see them. That's all that matters.
  20. I get 404 on all three. Try refreshing.
  21. There used to be a low recoil version which featured 4 gas ports in the barrel. Heavy loads would put an excess of gas through the system and stress components, sometimes to point of breaking. Typically, Benelli will replace a 4 port barrel with a 2 port at no charge to the consumer. If it's a new gun, it's not likely to be a 4 port. Benelli has learned from their errors and they no longer attempt to cater to the wussies who want to shoot light loads. They can go buy something else. These are men's guns.
  22. I'm thinking he won over the "Village People" crowd with his cosmo pics. Who knew there so many Conservaturds still in the closet up there?
  23. Once I finally laid hands on a Maxus my infatuation ended. I'd love to see a Winchester SX3 in LH. That could get me motivated to spend some coin. Nice can, mudlips!
  24. The Italian government requires that all firearms be stamped with a proof code. The code indicates the year of manufacture. This chart shows the relevant codes and the corresponding year in which it was made. Just be sure that they are getting you a Benelli M4 and not an AR15 variant.
