It looks really good. I like the way they've tied all of the relevant information straight to each model's page. Manuals, warranty registrations, etc. Very clean way to do that! I have a repeatable glitch with Firefox 3.1b2 and Google Chrome. I lose the navigation bars when I leave the main page and come back to it. I can only get it back by clearing the cache and reloading. A standard refresh doesn't get them back. Here's how it looks when I leave it and go back to it. You may want to test more with Firefox and Google. I'll load Safari and try that later.

The easiest way to fix the situation described above is to remove barrel and upper receiver. I don't think that's what you have, since you made no mention of it jamming, but if it is then proceed accordingly. If you have had the trigger group out, make sure it is reinserted properly. The bolt release lever must be depressed so that it catches behind the arm on the trigger group.

And don't use the shotgun until you're sure it's safe in every way and functioning normally.

Ha! We are hoping for some good shooting here later this week when the big nasty cold weather finally touches us. Hopefully, it will lock up the club ponds and swamps and put the duck back on the main lake and creeks. I'll try them Thursday for sure, but I'm heading for the coast Friday for an Atlantic striper charter Saturday AM. Supposed to be about 12 degrees when we set sail on that little adventure.

Euromutt's post is an accurate and concise summation of current laws. Whether state laws do or do not infringe upon the rights granted in the Second Amendment of the Constitution is a matter open to some debate. In my own view, the 2nd says that citizens, in order to insure against tyranny in government, have the right to own the same weapons as the government. Since that is a Constitutional right, it has precedence over any subsequent laws which diminish or restrict it.

You've given so much information. Did you load it? Did you cycle the action to put a round in the chamber? Did you disengage the safety? Did it click or do nothing at all? Did the firing pin strike the primer? Was it a light strike or a deep one? Have you disassembled the bolt and trigger group and checked them for proper function and broken or missing parts? Have you manually pushed the firing pin in to insure that it extends beyond the bolt face? Have you made sure that the gun is assembled fully and correctly? Have you ever owned or used a shotgun or any other firearm before?
