Got my first Drake Green-Winged Teal. Not an awesome specimen but it was cool to finally get one.

GSP - German Shorthaired Pointer Uli - pronounced ooo-lee I haven't used him to retrieve ducks. I think he would, but by the time waterfowl season gets here it's usually pretty cold and I think I'd just freeze him out if I took him with me.

Couple grouse from opening day:

Pretty cool. Haven't seen the doves since just before opening weekend. We had a cold snap and haven't seen a lot of them around since then. Was able to get a ruffed grouse on opening day, but haven't gotten back out since.

On the way back from hunting turkey up on the western side of the state we saw a black wolf right next to the guardrail: He wasn't in his pristine winter coat but he was pretty cool to see nonetheless. He easily weighed over a 100 pounds. I'm not sure how tall the guardrail is (didn't think to stop and measure it) but he had no trouble looking over the top of it. The picture isn't the best as we had to put the skids on and hurry and shoot the pictures through the rear window of the truck before he bugged out. It was cool to get to see one - that's the first wild wolf I've ever seen. And no - no turkey. Seen them, but just couldn't close the deal.

Hate recoil as well - I bought the Extrema2 - love it. I have a Nova, but in a 20 guage - great gun also.

Where to buy turkey in Idaho??? Aahahahahahahahha. You suck.

I guess my question would be "why"? Last I checked you don't need to worry about stinky feet when hunting turkeys. Unless you have like vapor coming off of them that the turkeys might see?
