  1. I would think you would have taken the problem to Cabelas before taking to a Smith? Hope Cabelas takes care of ya! Common problem with scope installation is that most do not know the proper way to do it! Easy job can be messed up really fast by cutting corners and lack of knowledge! as if it took that much? Proper torque values for the bases & rings can be found from their manufacturers!
  2. Did ya push the cartridge drop lever to the up position first? Read your manual a little more and i hope that this was all that was wrong!
  3. i guess this should look familiar, maybe you can read one of those languages,so you could not download English version from Italian Link? Their rendition of a manual is thought up by an Italian and it's not meant to be too user friendly since it's gotta be understood in 5 separate languages! Kinda straight and to the point went comes to explaining the weapon, all their manuals are similar and takes a while to get used to!

    SBE II question

i would put Benelli stuff in it, Sure Cycle is expensive stuff and no reason for new spring as long as you have been shouldering it tightly! i think it's in your bolt group myself! or close to it! Plus it's still in warranty! no reason to make it a 1500.00 stovepipe! what flavor are the 3" shells?

    SBE II question

Sounds like it needs Benelli/Smith TLC? i would suspect an ejector or extractor with damage or maybe needing adjustment? Sounds like definitely an issue needing work:D Does it stove pipe with any round/all rounds?

    SBE II question

CS would be place to start, 301-283-698 think it has a 5 year warranty! How did you break the gun in and what lubes do ya use?
  8. Benelli hardly ever has anything in stock that ya want and if ya do not have patience you will never own a Benelli. Lotta places has inventory but once ya call or get their things change fast! All their guns have to clear customs and things can hold this process up and Benelli has very little control over it! I waited 3 months for my SBEII and was wrth every day of the wait, it has been flawless since day 1.

  10. I think they had a lotta stamped LE barrels leftover when they quit making them and numerous people have talked about having them. SEARCH button will pull up a group of history or just call CS? Barrels were not thrown away they were still used!
  11. Call 301-283-6981, hope you have some cash saved up:D
  12. http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp?chrProductSKU=&chrSuperSKU=957140&MC=YJ they sell extensions here! Benelli discontinued there OEM extensions!
  13. click on english version page on this link and you will find it!
  14. http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/specialpurpose.tpl it's in English also!
  15. you have to select english website on the link i sent you:rolleyes: yes it's an italian website and if you do not select english it will give you italian pdf. Technology is tuff but come on!
  16. http://www.benelli.it/Articoli/Armi.asp?ID=42 owners manual and spare parts, click on links & downloads and you will find both files! 5+1=6 rounds just as website specs show!
  17. not ejecting could be because of the shape of the brass rim and the claws just not grabbing it because of a deformity in the rim of the round? I second getting rid of the remoil before you get it all over the whole gun! Run some Hoppes Gun Cleaner thru it then some Hoppes Oil!
  18. Depends on your shooting ability! if you know your ballistics and can find the vitals it's a wash! I have seen a .270 Remington non Mag drop a Cow Elk at 550 yds with the first shot. Just need to be familiar with your drop, yardage and vitals! If you will be doing mule deer and elk the .300 WSM would serve you better! If i were to purchase a new rifle it would be hands down this one cause i already have a 300 WSM BAR Semi but would like to try a bolt! http://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx?item=VMM300NSR4O tack driver, these have patterned better than a bunch of really expensive Customs and for the price would be really hard to find one more accurate! even the 399.00 ones are super accurate!
  19. Pattern Board and gun fit are kinda nice to start with:confused: your gun probably does shoot high but it has shims which if ya read the OWNERS MANUAL you might figure ya need to add or take out shims to get on pattern board! SBEII's are also known to need a break-in period and my dealer told me to use 3 boxes of most powerful round i planned on ever shooting thru it before i shot any low power rounds for recoil spring memorization. i guess they knew what they were talking about cause i have had zero issues with function! This is info they were told back in 2003 when i purchased my SBEII new and the Benelli Rep told them of this issue way back then! Why would you take a shotgun out that has an adjustable stock and not pattern it to hunt with? I feel you already new of this problem and it's an easy fix if ya ever wanta kill something you will put in the time to dial it in! Spend some time on pattern board with different rounds and different chokes!
  20. http://www.farrarsodfarm.com/nelli/USMC_M1014.pdf it is explained very well in this manual pg 56-62? just pic your products carefully! Some lubes do more harm than good, i use Militec products and Hoppes products! not on an M4 but they have been keeping my SBEII spitting hulls since 2003 with out any issues! give thanks to tucker & USMC for manual! great section on lubrication.
  21. I would send it back to Benelli after giving them a call to try and resolve your issue! They will want to know a lotta info when ya call them and ya need to give them a chance to fix it! What type of lubrication ya been using, have ya been lubing it like manual says? go to http://www.militec.com/ click on firearms and pan down to middle of that page to M4 manual and read lubrication procedures and see if you could have done anything different?
  22. do not think so, just call CS!
  23. call Benelli for older Owners manuals, here is a parts break down & list. Once ya blow up it up, it's not to shabby! http://www.e-gunparts.com/productschem.asp?chrMasterModel=4150zSL121
  24. not knowing the size makes it an unknown? call Man & Son's and see if they can give you the sizes since Benelli did not or call Benelli back? The kit would probably have one but if it did not, ya going to buy another kit? I would take to a Smith if it were me! I have one that does stuff really cheap and he is really good! The length on these could be critical so i would opt for proper screws!
