Hey i saw a SN at Gander in Denver with out a choke & was surprised! was not a slugger either! why this site does not show them is par for course i guess, they like to keep ya confused, not too hard when it comes to shotgun inventory and their marketing/manual issues!

You might just give benelli a ring about this before you end up spending a fortune on getting your barrel threaded for choke tubes, but from what i read the tac SN slugger is only one without tubes?

So which Model # Nova's or Super Novas did not come with Internal Chokes? Everything i see says Internal chokes with IC or CYL included and the Choke charts say they also come with Internal Chokes, Standard and Extended Standard tubes? Yall talking about the slug barrel? I thought it came with CYL choke?

looks to me to come with a IC Choke ? which model number you looking at? Model # 20050 & 51 both have IC, you can use other chokes in this shotgun, they only ship with one choke! Dig around here and you can start to understand chokes a little, i think they make the benelli choke! http://www.trulockchokes.com/cgi-bin/eShop/index.cgi plus their is some good info if you know nothing about chokes! also all Novas can be fitted with different chokes from what i read, some of them only ship with one choke! but you can install different constriction after ya buy them! My own opinion is a Tac Shotgun does not make an all around great shotgun for all shooting scenarios! Unless your shooting bad guys!

i would try some 3" shells instead of recoil reducer myself, also this chart at the bottom of the page will answer your question. CS would be the ones to answer this question with out guessing and they are not too bad on answering questions as i have asked them a group and allways got good answers. Might not like their answers but i did get them to tell me what was going on with numerous issues. Imported weapons are biggest issue and stock to them is also an issue and they do not have a lot of control on shotguns going backorder!

i would suggest playing with loads and chokes instead of spending 800+ for new barrel? a 4" shorter barrel is going to do what?
