Oooo, very nice. Thanks Remy (and tucker301). I compared the exploded view of the trigger group shown in tucker's post and it looks almost exactly like the exploded trigger group for the M4, so I'm pretty sure it should work.

That's the enthusiasm we like to hear! I absolutely love the sling, very glad I got it. Hmmm, about the side armor rail--not sure if it will fit with the sure cycle extension. I'm thinking it won't--it's already kind of a tight fit with the Benelli brand extension, and it looks like the Surecycle one has a little bulge around the middle. Post some close-ups when you install it and I'll have a look. As for someone to mill the tube... I haven't done it, but I think the member 'M1014' has. He might be able to point you in the right direction.

Oh, and about the tube... The tube is epoxy-ed into the receiver and isn't coming out. Therefore, if you want your stock to collapse, you must send it of to a gunsmith who can mill the correct pattern into the tube allowing it to collapse.

I shoot left handed too. I haven't found an easy solution either. Anybody know if the safety can be switched (M1014 in my case)?

Don't worry, Benelli customer service will make everything right for you. They say 8 weeks, but I bet it will be much quicker than that. As for quality--yes, Benelli quality is still right up there in the top. You just caught a fluke--my ghost sights are still on. Btw, welcome to the forum! Got home last night to find to my joy: my Mesa Tactical 6-shot holder for my M1014. Upon opening the package I was delighted to see the very professional looking package holding everything I would need to install the shell holder: Included items: - 6-shot shell holder - Hex tool and screws - Rubber buffer - Instructions - Cool decal The shell holder is very finely made. I was quite impressed by the quality of the craftsmanship and the fit. The rail and the holder is made of aluminum. There is a small rubber tube that runs between the shell holder and the rail part it attaches to (you can see it if you look closely at the pic above). This rubber tube presses against the shotgun shells and holds them in place. Installation was very easy. First I removed the existing rail on my M1014 and then tested the fit of the new rail/shell-holder. I decided to install the rubber buffer on the back of the shell holder--which made everything fit just right. Once I was sure everything would fit properly I used the included hex tool and screws to fix the shell holder in place. With the instillation complete I filled the holder with shells and took some glamour pics: I haven't had a chance to shoot my gun with the shell holder installed, but I'm sure everything should work fine. The only improvements I could suggest are: a) The rubber tube that holds the shells in place could be made of something a little more stiff to hold the shells more tightly; b) the shell holder piece could maybe made of a good quality plastic instead of aluminum to keep weight down. Overall I am very, very pleased with my Mesa Tactical 6-shot holder. Oh, I forgot to mention--the shell holder does not cover the axel-bush, so the trigger grip can be removed without removing the shell holder, unlike the Tac-Star side-saddle shell holder.

Thanks jjgi5150! That's good news about the H&K hooks--I'll keep an eye out for them. I doubt they'll be too expensive, my CQB sling was only like $34--a heck of a deal if you ask me. Oh, btw, thanks for posting the pic of your entry with the single point sling--looks very good. I especailly like the Sigs--got a couple myself, both 226s.

Hi all, I just got my Specter Gear CQB 3 point sling, and it rules! It was very easy to attach and feals great. Here are some pics.

I'd like to add a red dot sight to my M1014 and I think I've decided on the C-More red dot sight. However, before I purchase the sight, I was wondering if anyone has a picture of the C-More sight installed on a Benelli M4. Thanks!

jjgi5150--good input, thanks! Btw, when you put the MOUT on your Benelli Entry, did you get the 'G. G. & G. Shotgun Receiver Sling Mount' for the sling attachment? I'd love to see a pic of your Entry with the sling on. Also, how well do single point slings work on long, heavy weapons like full sized Benellis? For overall suport would the three point slings work better?

Oh right, good call. Duggan, yea man, the M3 makes a great showing in Heat. Remember the part where they try to sell back the bonds to the guys at the drive in theatre? The dude in the white truck is trying to haul-A outa there while Val Kilmer is blasting at him with the H&K rifle. As the white truck goes by the gate Tom Sizemore steps out and gives the truck cab about five quick rounds of buckshot with his trusty M3 (in pump mode). Needless to say, the guy in the truck didn't make it.
