  1. Maybe you should just leave your weapon unloaded that way you can keep making your...what did you call it "CLACK CLACK" until they leave. Perhaps use a megaphone so it can be heard throughout the house and if possibly the intruder or intruders can hear if they dont think you are home and are making too much noise tearing your house apart. A "ninja" style robbery is when 2 or 3 men break into a house and they are ARMED. If I could spot a weapon in someones hand in my house and there are 2 or three men. Im taking them out...plain and simple. No clack clack BS...youve seen too many movies....and this is where that extra ammunition comes into play.
  2. Fact: Racking your shotgun will alert your intruder of your presence and that you are armed. You have now lost the element of surprise and your weapon was holding one less round of ammunition than it could have been.
  3. You turned your stock fiber optic SBII sight counter clockwise without any problems? I dont know I just put the easy hit right in front of stock sight.I like it
  4. Order online
  5. Tell her to drop it like its hot
  6. I dont beleive you and you are a lier. Ive shot deer close range with 3.5" magnum buckshot and they didnt fly back 20 feet. Oh and it was on mythbusters lol:eek:
  7. NIce deer and gun! What was that shot in? Were you using buckshot or slugs
  8. Good for you, you should be proud for defending your home. Man up. Your story looks like bullsh!t to me, nobody "flies back 20 ft" while being hit with a shotgun round.
  9. How do you know have you ever capped someone?
  10. ^^^^^ lol :D
  11. LOL Ya I call dibs on his Benelli
  12. This doesnt burn the plastic
  13. shotgunNoob, your name suits you. If your comfortable with 4 rounds in your shotgun for home defense than good for you. Im comfortable with 14 rounds of .45 hollowpoints as ive said. If you have 3 people breaking into your house which would you rather have??? You can talk about people planning home invasions but its all preperations. If put to the test your stress and adrenaline level will be put through the roof and you just very well might miss someone. You compare your "racking the slide" to an intruder seeing 6 357 magnum rounds, the point is the intruder should never see these if were talking about a night home invasion, he should be blinded by your flashlight thus further protecting you. I would rather have the element of surprise and be fully loaded with my sights on the suspect before turning on my flashlight so that if they are armed im ready to go. If they ARE armed and hear your "clack clack" as you put it, bullets will be flying in your direction.
  14. Who knows if the person will even understand the sound, they could be on drugs. The point is your gun should be ready to go so you dont have to think about things like racking the action. And I would want to make sure the gun is full up. You prefer a shotgun with 4 rounds while I prefer 14 rounds of hollow point .45....you carry a handgun for backup, do you keep a holster on your underwear too? hahaha
  15. As tucker said a browning bps is a good gun. All this talk about "racking the gun" makes me laugh. If someone was in your house, waiting to get close and making a racking noise is ridiculous. Your gun should be ready to go and if your racking, thats one less round that should be in your gun. You would want to keep as much distance from an attacker as possible and you need a gun with a defense light like a surefire. If your going with a long gun, make sure you get a short barell. You also need to make your attacker aware that you are armed, they wont be able to see anything with the light in their eyes.
  16. How exactly do I remove the stock fiber optic sight on my SBII?
  17. +1 Those Italians put packing grease on these guns like olive oil on food lol
  18. Ya its starting to sound like overkill
  19. To anyone buying a Benelli I would say this. Take the gun apart completely and CLEAN it thoroughly! Your benelli needs a light coat of oil on the bolt where it rides on the rails and the rails inside of the receiver. Cleaning the trigger group and a light coat of lube is also not a bad idea. I would also take apart the recoil tube and clean and lubricate it. I have had no probelms with mine since Ive done this, I recommend about 6 drops of oil or CLP inside the recoil tube and work it up and down. Also clean and put a drop or so on the ejector plate inside of barell.
  20. Dude relax, he didnt mean anything like that.
  21. Did a gunsmith do that? I guess I would have to get that done for my SBII?
  22. Will I know right away when I try to load it or only if I fire and cycle the gun
  23. A light coat of CLP is good
  24. Im going to see if my SBII does allows this
