  1. What kind of shotgun are you firing with? Ill use cheap loads, although these are remingtons so they are good they were on sale! I use Federal for hunting, they are no ********...I shot a deer in a drive while it was running with full choke at a solid 60 yards using federal 00 3 1/2" buckshot, only shot once because i figured it was outta range, he dropped like a bad habit!
  2. Thanks bro, i was looking on cheaperthandirt.com...ended up going with remington game loads low brass #8 shot 1oz....I bought 20 boxes so I hopw they are good!
  3. 12 people view with no response.. anyway I bought remington game loads 12 guage 2 3/4" 1oz shot size 8...on sale for $52 for 10 boxes...hope this **** cycles, then again for $1400 shotgun, shouldnt have to worry about **** cycleing in my gun, I think my jams were related to improper lubrication of the plunger/recoil tube.
  4. I have an SBII in 12 gauge. I was going to buy "top gun" by federal #8 1oz shot. Think I would have any problems with these cycling?
  5. Make sure you lubricate inside of hte recoil tube with the plunger pressed in with a screwdriver and work the CLP or oil in there good, or you will be pissed off at your new purchase like I was when it failed on me in the field! No problems since. (the manual is not specific as to what needs to be lubricated, only shows disassemly and reasessembly)

    Optics...?

Whats wrong with ghost sites? What are you going to be using it for that you wanna mount a red dot? Just curious
  7. Anyone ever buy a pistol grip stock for a SBII? I know the turkey guns come like that but curious if you can convert and what the cost is? I have a SBII 24" w/comfortech...pistol grip would be great for when driving deer
  8. Sounds pretty simple just wanted to disassemble the srping from the recoil tube, clean both of them out
  9. 40 views and no one can help lol
  10. This chick aint f*cking around
  11. Ive posted before but never seen a detailed instruction. I want do disassemble the stock of my SBII comforetch because I want to clean out the recoil tube and spring. Can anyone help me?
  12. SBII is also a pretty light gun so your going to feel it. im 5'9" 190lbs and have no problems. Besides, when im shootin 3.5" its buckshot and at that point there is so much adrenaline from the game, I dont feel a thing =) Make sure you shoulder tightly and maybe practive more....how tall are you and how much do you weigh?
  13. Looking at the specs on benellis page about m4's they are basically close quarters combat guns available in cylinder choke only. You want full choke for buckshot for shooting deer so u can reach out to 50 yards...the m4 comes with a picatany rail on top to mount something like eotech red dot....but slug guns can reach to 100 yards, your better off with a regular scope like 3.5-10x40mm vs red dot. the stock m4 comes with a smooth bore barell, for slugs you would need rifled and the barell another setup...look into super black eagles, they will give you what you need

  15. Why do you want a red dot for a shotgun?
  16. Are you talking about flashlights? I dont see what else you would mount on a shotty besides maybe ghost sights but i dont see what that has to do with the operation of the bolt (gas or inertia).
  17. Looks good...is that a red dot? what you gonna use it for
  18. Finally someone supporting 1187's being badass guns...as ive said I went through 5 hunting seasons wiht my 1187sps the gun has fired and worked perfectly in freezing weather, snow, and rain. As far as the rust goes, it never did maybe its because after the field i properly clean and store my firearm. I know alot of people say the new ones rust, maybe they do, this gun is about 6 years old maybe the coating was different. I use a SBII now but cant part with this 1187 I wont sell it.
  19. Our state police use Benelli m1 super 90 and Sig p228 sidearms
  20. Inertia is operated by inertia and gas by gas lol.... Inertia like the benelli ARMI system use the force of the shell and a spring that compresses. Gas systems cycle the gases through small holes in the barell...Inertia cycles faster and there is less to clean, Gas guns are a ***** to clean.I think one disadvantage of inertia I beleived if the gun isnt shouldered tight it may jam. Someone correct me if im wrong.
  21. I know, must have been thinking it and didnt post....how do you recommend cleaning the recoil tube? Is it easily disassembled, someone mentioned spraying cleaner inside while you hold the plunger in with screwdriver
