  1. Does limbsaver make a replacement pad for SBII comfortech and do you think its worht the investment? Also if I get this sight do I leave stock one on or take off?
  2. I shoot clays, pheasant hunt and deer hunt so im not sure which to get, but I wanted to get the easy hit fiber optic sight that tom knapp uses. How would I remove the stock red sight on my SBII and install this one? Also which size is best?
  3. Interesting! This doesnt create a problem when the gun cycle because the magazine is going to try and load a shell onto the carrier but there is already one there
  4. Just curious is a limbsaver good to get for a comfortech stock?
  5. You are deer hunting im assuming? I use a full choke with 00 buckshot and have taken deer at 60 yards with it. LE use cylinder with their buckshot because most confrontations will be withing 25 yards.
  6. you never can have too much ammo!
  7. Ya between taking apart the recoil tube assembly, cleaning and lubing it as well as the ejector slide inside the gun. Now I will pay attention to the bottom of bolt assembly now!thanks!
  8. Its synthetic but thanks for the input. I applied some clp to the bottom of the bolt itself and didnt have any jams last time I was at the range. I also used Remington ammo instead of federal which Benelli recommended. Even though the federal is 4dram and the remington is 3 3/4 dram. Who knows maybe itwas that little extra clp underneath the bolt and not the ammo.
  9. I hope your using high brass, thats what the gun needs for the first 3-4 boxes
  10. Where did I post that I didnt beleive them? I dont know why you think your picture is so impressive it surely wasnt made from 1 shell.
  11. Why are you trying to jack the thread? Go somewhere else and play.

Thanks! These bolt rails seem to like a decent amount of oil eh? I hate putting alot becuase it attracts dirt
  13. The benelli chokes i have have notches in the top I II III IIII IIIII (I is full and IIIII is cylinder)
  14. Winchester makes good ammo IMO. Hornady is good. What kind of issues are you having and are you using a scope if so what kind
  15. Yes without a shell but only if you try and push the bolt forward, if you release it it will slam shut. when it is locked up a little force forward and it goes or if you were to press the shell carrier down from inside it would slam on your fingers
  16. In my other post I mentioned this it would happen first shot only of an outing and seemed to be with 4dram federal wing shok shells. when it happens it fails to eject the shell and the bolt needs to be pushed forward. What I mentioned is that i was trying to see where the bolt was hanging up and if you pulled itback and pushed it forward and repeated this a bunch of times you could take your hand off the bolt handle when it was all the way back and it would look locked but if you pushed forward it would go, try it on your gun see if you can get it to hang up
  17. When I had my bolt locked back and turned it upside down if you listen you can hear the inertia spring in the bolt make a small noise, does this happen to your gun?
  18. Tight choke? for what hunting deer or turkey? Use full or try for a turkey choke thats benelli compatable if there is one.
  19. Those of you who know, I had problems with my SBII jamming on the frist shot of an outting only. I broke the gun in with 3 boxes of high brass without any problems. A few different pheasant hunts It would fail to eject the shell. I was using Federal Wing Shok 4dram 1 1/4oz shot. I then went deer hunting and two seperate hunts with 3.5" buckshot did not have any problems. I recently cleaned the entire gun including the recoil tube and added about 6 drops of clp in it. Benelli told me to try different ammo so i used remington 3 3/4 dram express long range and it didnt jam on the first shot so im happy for once BUT the ammo it was jamming with would cycle fine AFTER the first shot so who knows. I have a couple questions #1 How many drops clp or oil do you guys use on the bolt rails? I usually bolt one on each side of the bolt itself and spread it around then 1 on each side of where the bolt rail slides inside of the gun. #2 When the gun would jam I beleive the bolt was almost locked back and you would have to give it a push forward. If you guys pull back on the bolt and push it forward and do this a bunch of times can you sometimes get it to hangup to the point you can take your hand off and its locked back and then you have to give it a little push forward to get it going? My gun is like this as sometimes when i do this motion I feel some resistance when the bolt is all the way back and just about to go forward is this normal? #3 Are you guys oiling all moving parts in the trigger assembly?
  20. Ive killed a deer at almost 60 yards with stock fullchoke and 3.5" federal 00 vital shok

Before I send it back I just wanna try Remington shells. I got these federals from cheaperthandirt.com and maybe its a bad box who knows. If it jams first shot on these Rems,Ill send it back immediately. Im going to have to figure out how to ship it. Probably take it to UPS right? The gun store is 1 1/2 hours from my house.
  22. I just got Lacrosse Alpha 2's from shoebuy, searched the net and got a coupon code for $20 off.

Hey Tucker do you prefer hoppes elite field cleaner to breakfree CLP? Shouldnt be that much difference I would assume. How would you compare these to the standard oil benelli gives you?
  24. Love those desert camo's. Those chokes are interchangable for that gun right? How well do you tink it would pattern with buckshot and full choke at 50-55 yards compared to SBII Tucker?

What I mean is when you pull the bolt back and instead of releasing it PUSH it forward if you go back and forth a bunch of times sometimes it hangs up and you have to give a good push for it to go forward. Im going to try the new ammo before sending it back to benelli. I will keep you all posted. Thanks for your help guys
