  1. I've decided this year I was going to try it.....Shooting a Nova, with an Undertaker tube, Kent Diamond 3" 1 1/4 #5...Did a pattern test at 40 yards..7 pellets in the head and neck area.....Is 40 to far??? Should I try maybe 30???

If your not happy with that pattern, Try a different load. Is the Kent Diamond a ''turkey load"? I haven't heard of it, but kent ammo isn't around here.

  2. I saw a nova camo for 439 w/ 28 inch barrel. So for 60 extra bucks I would buy it and if you don't want the rifled barrel, sell it. They are going for 300 buck +++.

I good shooter can get 200 out of a rifled slug barrel. MOST people can shoot at 100-150 yards. You WILL NOT get that out of a smooth bore.

  3. He's kidding of course.

The trigger is so bad on those plastic guns, you would be safe unless he hit you with it.

Want to bet. The I will do the pepsi challange with the sigma. I can hit small soup cans at 25 yards 95% of the time. If have thousands of rounds with zero FTF. You wouldn't want to step infront of my Plastic gun.

  4. I would by the Monty. It will do everything you said. The monty's just fit me better than the rest of the autos. Going with the silver vs the reg. monty is a personal choice. I wouldn't spend the extra dough on the silver but thats just me.

As for the barrels. Forget it. If you can find one, You can buy another gun to put in your safe.

  5. I patterned my SBE2 yesterday with my nitro shells. The pattern as expected was awesome at 25 and at 50.

After I shot I noticed my Burris red dot had slid forward quite a bit. I went home, adjusted it, tightened it down and went back to adjust the sight. It did it again.

I was shooting from a lead sled. Would this be the cause? And, what else should I do to rectify it?

    Thanx Guys!

maybe some of it. How much weight did you have on the sled?

  6. I"m looking at getting a super nova for geese and turkey. I"m thinking of using heavy shot for both turkey and geese. What choke tubes would you guys recommend? For turkeys I'd use #6 3"and geese BB 3 1/2".

I would try and pattern it with the stock IC and MODIFIED choke first for geese. For turkey alot of people use the jelleyhead choke.

  7. I love my SuperNova.

But......I really wish I had a shorter 18/20 inches "tactical like" barrel for it.

Anybody has one to sell for less than the price of a all new gun??????????

    Thanks.

    Gio.

Member by the name Nikolai552 was looking for a trade a while back. He wanted a longer barrel. PM him and see.

  8. 12 ga or youll regret it

why? he has a 12 gauge now. 20 gauges are more useful than you think. My buddy hunts with just a 20 gauge and drops a deer every year. Every turkey he has pulled the trigger on has went down. quail, doves, pheasants, and ducks are no problem. Clays birds don't know the differance between the two. So again, why?

  10. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a rifled slug barrel with a scope mount for my Benelli nova 20ga pump somewhere out there? Ive been looking at stores like gander mtn and some local gun shops and havent been able to find anything. let me know if im missing somethin' thanks!

You will most likely never see one in a store. You might get lucky on the internet.
