  1. I have a nova that iam thinking about turning into a tactical gun, where & how much do the tactical barrels cost ?

second the field barrel I would like to have the forcing cone lengthened & polished for optimal pattern what does this procedure normally run ?

I am considering getting the vinci or m2 hwo well the pattern & what combo you used ?

what is the differce between the vinci & m2 they both feel good in hand

If your looking to make your nova a tactical you should just buy a nova tactical. It will cost you about the same amount of money.

I don't know what it would cost to have a forcing cone done but again, it might cost you the amount of the gun to do it.

Guess it would be your call.

  2. But if buying the best is not the best choice, why make it? Why not make a choice that is actually better than the best choice?

Can a god make a rock so heavy they can't lift it?

What's love got to do, got to do with it? What's love but a second hand emotion?

The slug barrel alone costs almost as much as complete new slug gun. Why not buy the new gun, keep the barrel, and sell the remaining parts off. Done right, the parts could generate enough income to buy another gun, and so on, and so on....

Badger barrels makes rifled slug barrels for the nova/supernova for 199.00. Novas in my area are 340.00+ and supernovas are 440.+

Before Badger made these barrels I would agree with you.(factory slug barrels were 327.00 if you could find them.) But thats not the case anymore.

  3. It seems that I am shaking my head in disbelief at more and more of late.

Just curious... as I am pretty new here, is the discussion of news and current affairs allowed in this forum?

depends on the topic and how you word it. but NEVER pick on OBUMMER, cause then you'll make Tucker mad!! and you dont want him mad at you!!

Skeeter, your just mad because we keep trying to export you.

  4. Thanks for the replies ya'll. Seriously, very appreciated. teasing and serious replies alike. What would a forum be without a bit of banter heh?

I was able to visit a store that had all three models I listed. I now place the Monte as first (of my three choices) M2 second and based on the lack of mass have taken the U.L. out of the running.

Then I look, hold, fondle, lust after the Sport II(Thanks Skeeter!) or the techie looking Supersport and wonder if I should just cut off the left part of my anatomy, trade an AR15 and get what seems to be the gun made for sporting??

Dammit Benelli, you've turned me into a shotgun addict!! :p Next thing you know I'll sell off my children to get an SBE and take up bird hunting!!!

Don't leave out Beretta. The new 400A is getting good reviews. Lightweight, cycles 7/8's to 3 1/2's, And will most likely have less recoil than the Benelli's. Maybe more of a pain to clean but might be better in the long run.

  5. i always love when someone stomps on someone else's post trying to talk other members out of buying said item!!! AND the info above, IS JUST PLAIN INCORRECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mesa Tactical WILL NOT have a c-stock out ANY TIME SOON!!!! even if ever!!

hey there "Salesman of the Year", the O.P.'s price is lower than yours!! And, this is His thread!!

    Your funny Skeeter!!!

  6. yea, I was kinda forced to shoot in the rain at this tournament I was at, and I gave the gun a quick cleaning and wipe down afterwords, but obviously not well enough.

The barrel is a 30" and I want to replace it with a 28", but I can't find one for less than $600 from ableammo. How much would a re-blueing cost from a gunsmith, and how much do you think I could sell the 30" for with and without the reblueing?

Also, if anyone is interested in trading a 30" for a 28" I would be very interested!

To bad its ported. You could have it cut down and rethreaded for chokes. If you wanted to go 25-26 inch barrel, and get rid of the porting. maybe.. It would cost less than a new barrel.

  7. The site shows Tom Knapp. Googled him. That dude is bad. He seems to like it.

He seem to like it because he gets paid to. Tom as been shooting clays long before the easyhit came out. He can't even use it right anyway because of his Benelli cam.
