I also do not own a Surefire, but I know that the B&T that I have is absolutely rock solid. Also, I like having ***2 NV compatibility on all of my guns, and that requires a quadrail, not a trirail grip. Surefire is a good company, and I like a lot of their other products, so I am reluctant to say anything negative about their rail system. I do have a rail for a Remy 870, and it is very nice, so I'm sure that the one for the Benelli is nice too. B&T as a company is easily on par with Surefire (if not better overall), so considering that I need a quadrail, B&T was my only choice. I also like to keep my dollars in the US, but no other company at this time produces a quadrail for the M4.

5+1 with 2 3/4 buckshot, and 4+1 with either 3" mags, or 2 3/4 slugs.

I would personally say go all the way with the 8 shot side saddle. On pump guns the 8 shot can get in the way of the pump action, but on a semi it really does not affect the function of the gun. I have to agree with the positive comments on the Mesa products. I have found them to be top notch, and the screws that mine came with were all the right length. Never had a problem with them. I guess I bought mine after the issues were resolved.

Well, the fact is that either one can be used turned off. When used on a shotgun, and if the target is within 15 feet, the optic can be used like an old fashioned camera window. Simply put, if you can see it through the lense, it can be hit. "Smile, you're on Candid Camera". I have both optics too, and I think they are both good. Having said that, I do think that EoTech does offer some advantages when it comes to quick target aquisition, but I personally prefer the Aimpoint Comp M4 (or any other Aimpoint), because I like having the option of using a ***2 NV attachment in front of the optic, and EoTechs are not compatible with the ***2. I know that there are other NV attachments that you can use an EoTech with, but I personally like the ***2 as it can be used with other scopes that I have, and I would rather not spend a whole bunch of money on several different NV devices.

Unfortunately no. It is a Swiss product, not that I have anything against the Swiss, I just try to buy American when I can.

I finally got this thing. The lighting in the picture makes the rail looking like it is a different hue, but it is actually the same as the receiver. It just has a different finish. I am now just waiting on an Aimpoint Comp M4.

#1 I have an M2 (essentially the same thing as an M1, and it does not fit. #2 With the M1, the standard pistol grip is the best option to go with. As M1014 mentioned, the recoil tube would have to be changed in order for an M1 to take the collapsible stock, and even then, the stock will not have the middle position. This is the most important thing to me, as I only shoot the gun from the middle position.

I have not shot an M4 with a standard stock, but I can shoot my M4 with collapsible all day. The gas system really takes the "bite" out of the kick you feel. I don't think the collapsible stock is uncomfortable at all.

I'm looking to add another M4 to my collection, but I wanted one with a 12" barrel. I will have to give King Armory a call. @SergeantBernie Very nice job on the M4. Looks real nice.

I have shot many of these rounds through my M2, and some through my M4 with nary a hiccup. I can't imagine a Benelli having trouble cycling anything. I almost feel like I could jam rocks down the barrel and they would still blow them out like ordinary shot. I also have a couple friends that have more than a couple Benellis, and they have shot numerous light target loads, and even through an old M1 super 90. Again, NO problems at all.

Mesa offers some very nice accessories. I have an 8shot side saddle on my M4 and I could not be happier with it. @AndyUK Very nice.

Like MikeyZ said CQB=Close Quarter Battle, and also CQC=Close Quarter Combat, essentially the same thing. Terms often used by military and law enforcement (particularly SWAT) when clearing buildings is the subject on hand.

You will love shooting clays. I shot with my M2 a couple times, and my friend had his M1. We both used the tighter chokes and found that it was not a problem hitting clays at over 50 yards away. We used high velocity #4 coppercoated shot, and at the end of the day, the barrels were clean with no lead residue. A couple passes with the boresnake and the barrel was clean as a whistle. We also pounded some old computer CPUs with Winchester coppercoated buckshot. We ripped them to shreads in a way that not even an MG could manage. Don't get me wrong, I love shooting MGs too, but everybody knows that in CQB, nothing beats a shotgun.

Yes, that is the EoTech that I currently have, and yes again, that is the Aimpoint that I have ordered. I saw one on the internet that had a Comp M3 mounted with a B&T quadrail, and it looked just fine.

I like the EoTech, and I like that it sits higher. I only shoot my gun with the stock partially collapsed, or on occassion collasped all the way. When collasped as you know the stock sits higher, so you really need an optic that sits higher when you shoot with the stock in a collapsed position. I figure that a gun like this is only going to be used in CQB situations, so I never shoot it with the stock extended all the way out. Shooting clays with this thing is a blast. You have to catch the clay right after it launches. Its a challenge, but also a lot of fun.

You know, I think you have the right idea. I'm the kind of person that would never buy a classic car and let it sit in a garage. If it makes 700hp, then I would want to use it and get my money's worth.

I would go with the 552 with NV compatibility. However, I am looking to switch mine out with the new Aimpoint. I love the Comp M4 (I have one on a 9mm SMG) as it really suits my needs, it is NV compatible, has simple flipup lense covers, and uses only one AA battery that will last 8-10 years. I have one on back order, but I should be able to get it mounted on my Benelli in a month or two.

I forgot to mention that although the Fabarm may look a little like the M4, it is a very different shotgun. The autoloader was built as a compact sidefolder, and the entire recoil system is located inside the receiver. The gun was originally offered with a sidefolder stock as an option, but the stock was a piece of junk. I do not know when Fabarm switched to the collapsible stock, but this whole design is an afterthought. They really should have just redesigned the sidefolder, as this was the original format the gun was supposed to come in, but now it seems that they are just trying to compete in an arena that is already very crowded and competitive. Not to mention the fact that this arena already has a KING on the hill. I guess it is just another servant that will pay homage to KING BENELLI. To be fair I do like the Fabarms, they are really nice shotguns, and I guess if Benelli was not around I would buy one.

What about the B&T quadrail? The official word is that the quadrail will now work on all M4s. The only difference is the method of installation. It is easier to install on a 1014, but it will work on current M4s. You just have to heat the rail, take the screws out, then once apart, install them on the gun.
