Is a Tube to Barrel clamp vital to have when you have this on? -And, if i remove it and put the standard Cap on, will i lose zero on Scope?
-
try Federal Tru Ball Slugs. I can get 3" groups at 50 yards with my SuperNova tactical. Granted i have a Bushnell Red dot, it still might be a sign that i'm using a slug that will perform better.

Rather be safe then well.... dead, right? I'm just slowly buying small bits and pieces that will make it overall, a better performing shotgun. If you know of any other small parts that are fairly cheap and help performance, please let me know.

There is no such thing as a lighter load slug as far as i know (of course 2 3/4" will most likely be lighter than a 3") but they do make low recoil slugs. http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=212295 Be advised that the full power will be more powerful at further out ranges and will be able to go farther in general. -Nik

That's the response i was looking for . I just needed someone to help explain if it was of any quality before i buy it. -Thanks Noob.

http://www.cactustactical.com/osc/nordic-components-gauge-shotgun-follower-p-1257.html I just can't decide if i trust the thin piece of plastic it came with. Anyone have one? Would it flake being that it is coated? -Thanks in advance.

Any good ideas for removing scuffs from barrel exterior?
Nikolai552 replied to shotgunNoob's topic in Benelli
I have a tube extension and have a question and not your answer . Do you have to have the clamp when you have the extension on? Is it truly necessary? -
Rifled slugs for Smooth bore, Sabot slugs for Rifled bore.

Well to those whom think that they kick more than other shotguns remember, you are sacrificing kick for quality unmatched.

I have a TacStar extension on my SuperNova. I guarantee it will function just as good as a Nordic.

http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=116909195 So that one stock works for all the models he listed...? I thought they were made specifically for one model..

Anyone have any interest in a standard SuperNova stock?

SuperNova Tactical. Failed to mention that earlier. My apologies . Wow, you positive about the pulling away part? Either i lack the strength or that isn't how it is done. -

Does it still reduce a fair amount of recoil? Obviously not as much as the Comfor-Tech i know that for sure. - Ran into a problem, i don't know how to get it off and mine didn't come with a manual. Don't mention the online version my computer refuses to open it. I know you have to get the recoil pad off but how is that done? -
Selling it because my Christmas gift to myself is going to be a PG stock. Can post pics but it is literally brand new and it would be pointless to put pictures up.
-
I just don't understand what it could be, but thanks for ideas and recommendations of how to fix this issue.
-
It appears to be a slime or some sort of layer on the inside of the barrel that i can not remove with ANYTHING. Any ideas? It's in a smooth bore barrel and all i have ran through it recently are slugs.

Save yourself $1,000 and get a SuperNova Tactical with Ghost Ring sights and a Steady grip. Unless of course you aren't a fan of pumps then ignore this post.
-
To be honest BSR, i have a SuperNova which is nearly identical and it is my first shotgun. I have never fully disassembled a gun in my life until that one and it was quite easy. If you started taking it apart and got stuck, you could PM me or even post here and i could help you. - Enjoy your Nova

So..how many rounds per year do you put through your Benelli?
Nikolai552 replied to shotgunNoob's topic in Benelli
Maybe 150 shells a year? -
If so, let me know.

That Duracoat caught my eye. Let's say i don't have the right equipment to apply it. Would local gunshops do it?

Legacy, all you are going to get in response to your question is opinions. You will hear something different from everyone. Wish i could help but i don't shoot skeet and only have a 18.5" barrel.
