My Super Black Eagle II is the most elegant gun I have. It is light reliable and a joy to shoot. I have a Super Nova pump as well and find it a joy to shoot as well. But since my shotguns are only Benelli's I am a little bias. I did have a Remington 870 prior to Benelli but no comparison. Sold the Remington to someone who hardly shoots and I am very happy with the change.

I was cleaning my Super Nova yesterday and noticed that that there is some ribbing about 4-6 inches from the chamber. I thought it was really dirty, I had shot over 100 rounds earlier that day. Needless to say the barrel is really clean now. But I looked in my buddies Reminton 870 and it has the ribbing also. Neither of usknow what it is or its function. Anyone know?

I have three passions in life. My wife, my motorcycles, and my gun collection. I must say I love the pictures. Missing a scope for the second from the bottom. But whe shooting shot it does not really matter. What you see is what you get.

I love my super nova pump. I did a ton of research prior to my purchase. I had freind with Remington 870's, Stogers and Mossbergs. But my research led me to the Super nova with comfort tech. When me and my buds with other shotguns go to the range or skeet/trap shoothing they want to trade with me so they can shoot my super nova. Not only is it more gentle to the shooter but it is lighter and better balanced. Only shot gun in my opinion better than my super nova is the Super black eagle II because of the semi auto feature. If I could figure out a way for my wife not to find out about the SBE II it would mine. But that is a battle I am not ready for. My motto in general is, "It is easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission".

Depends on the location you are hunting. The Beautiful State of California has rectrictions depending where your are hunting. If not California I envy you.

Amen Brother, Amen!!! Wal-mart has Winchester, Federal and Remington. 100 rounds at around $20.00. They pattern nice on a paper target in the indoor range as well.

Loved the 577 t rex video. Not like shoothing a slug though. I showed the video to some frineds and we are of the opinion we would at least have to try to shoot one once in our life time.
