  1. would fp-10 be one that is safe for camo guns??
  2. i wood post pics of mine... but for some reason its not lettin me post from photobucket
  3. if i were to say the cheapest would probably be high base lead loads... but if it were me, i would do it in duck loads, either 3" or 3.5"s... just my prefence though... and i believe the manual calls for 4-5 boxes...
  4. damn... lol nevermind:rolleyes: ooops...
  5. it said to use heavy field loads... i choosed the 3.5"s and i never said that they recommened them. i just said what is heavier? flinchitis:D yeah a lil brusing but nothing too bad. i chose my heavy field loads, doesnt mean that somebody has to choose the same ones. well if you hit me you better be bringing a big fist!!
  6. whats heavier then 3.5" shells?? they recommend about 4-5 boxes of heavy field loads for a break-in period of the gun. and well 3.5"s are a pretty heavy field load. i shot 2 boxes of those and then a box of 3" and then went to the light dove loads. everything worked fine
  7. so i just bought a SBE II and as my first new semi auto... i LOVED it!! i shot two boxes of 3.5"s through it as the manual reccomended. then i shot atleast 3 boxes of 1 1/8oz dove loads. the gun worked flawlessly!! i did not try the lighter loads of 7/8oz, because my dad has a SBE I and it would not kick out the shell (not enough kick) so learning from his experiences i just skipped it and went with the heavier light field loads. gun did not jam!! took it home and cleaned her out! Im excited for October!!

    new benelli

yea... i have a nova, but i just got tired of all the pumping, and its ten years old or so. so i just decided to step up and get a new gun to last me many more years of shooting! sucks though, i just got lasic eye sergery, so i cant shoot it for quite sum time. thats why i shot the **** out of it on thursday. had to get it out of my system!
  9. who makes that gun again?? o thats right! cant miss it, benelli:p
  10. i like the 26" because its just a happy medium of the barrels...
  11. all they have is its a semi auto hunting shotgun. which is gonna use their ARGO system, i believe

    new benelli

just thought id stop by and say SBE II's kick sum butt!! i got my first semi auto today and i LOVE it!! shot like a dream! broke it in with a couple boxes of 3.5" shells. and then some 3" shells. then i went to the 1 1/8oz dove loads at clays... good stuff!! gun shot and cycled great on every shot! i was really caught off gaurd by the amount of kick (or lack there of) on the light dove loads! felt like nothing! but the 3.5"s on the other hand... wow! they get to ya after awhile, but shootin clays in a t-shirt, theres no real padding, as if you were shootin them at ducks or geese in padded winter clothes. i cant wait to take it out in the field!!
  13. i believe thats the same type of sling i have on my nova right now... a green rubbery type of sling... i searched the one you want and i noticed my swivel on the top is different then the one pictured. mine is metal and it looked as if that one was plastic...

    gun oil

what kind of gun oil are you guys using for your semi- autos? i just purchased a SBE II, and have plenty of rem oil. will that work? thanks
  16. well my standard load is going to be some 3.5" BB's and probably some 3" #2's...
  17. i love the kent faststeel 3" #2's, 1 1/8oz. for duck then step up a notch to 3 1/2" BB's for the big birds or for breaking in my new SBE II:D:D
  18. i use rem oil to clean out my Nova... works just fine
  19. i dont believe calling benelli wont solve anything, because their warrenty doesnt cover camo dipping on their guns...
  20. i shoot a Nova, but i borrowed and shot a SBE II at some geese at the end of the season, they were 3 1/2" BBB's and first thing i said to the guy when i gave it back to him, is holy crap that thing kicks!! im hoping the SBE II i bought a week ago when i break it in with the two boxes of 3.5" i have for it wont kick that bad!! but from the sounds of it i might be getting a limbsaver for it... how much do those cost anyway??

    SBEII

i only shoot IC for lead and for clay shooting. i love my M for all around duck hunting!!
  22. alright... first post but, i had this happen to me on my Nova. i broke a choke tool while trying to get it out. i took it to a gun smith and he soaked it in a gun oil for a couple days and then took a gun wrench tool to it and it came out... only thing he had that i didnt was a padded vise to clamp the barrel down to. and a pair of vise grips welded to a choke tube remover tool!! i think that was the key... so take a pair of old vise grips and weld it to the choke tool and try it that way
