  1. The screws are titanium and I am wondering, if they can be blued like that, can also likely be blackened? I have done it with stainless screws before and waiting for this to come back into stock somewhere.
  2. I contacted truglo on new sights for the M4 and they said they are looking in to doing a fiberoptic day/night tritium but no info on when it will be available. Perhaps if everyone asks the same question... http://www.truglo.com/contact.aspx I really like the fiber optic front posts and the front green and rear yellow ones I have from them for my G26 are a real improvement and work well in all and no light conditions.

  4. If I put a full length tube on my Benelli and then put a dowl or mag limiter in it, am I then 922b dash sub section 6 compliant? How much do you think I can get for my 57 Cheby?
  5. My 2 pennies is this could not be more perfect as is, at first I though the wait would kill me, now I just have to wait for it to get here. Thanks for following through on this! UDMan
  6. My understanding is that Benelli only makes or sells the entire gun in 14" and never the barrel only. I suspect the barrel only sales are from doing a great deal of custom work (on stock 18.5") to get it that way.
  7. Well I found photos of new handel. Link - http://photos.carriercomp.com/AlbumHomeView.aspx
  8. I see one on gun broker now, I just got a black one there (original benelli parts) and have it in the shop for nickle plating. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=150091739

  10. If you look at the link(s) on onpoint they show both. The one in question is not the goofy add on one, but looks to be an aluminum copy of the DC unit. Not this: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=64616277&blogId=506360257 But this: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=64616277&blogId=505394909
  11. That looks like the deal - any word on that?
  12. No - just what he says - the post is August, so it makes me wonder what's going on. If you search `On Point' it just comes up with another alloy or aluminum type.
  13. Here is a possible that does not look like a spinner... What do you all think? http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=64616277&blogId=505394909
  14. Knocking down doors might be better suited for the 14 inch which I wish I could more easily collect. I agree its a bit overkill so to speak, I have used this sight at the range and it works great and easy to zero. Its bullet proof again - so to speak, and makes the weapon almost too easy to aim, like cheating or no-brain-er compared to the irons. There is unlimited eye relief, but you do have to get on the sight which is very quick even with the stock in the first position, closed stock is awkward even with it out front on the rail. It also removes easily, so I also used it on my 15PC before getting the IOR 2-12. I am aware of said weakness of the stock rail and any added effort over smaller more compact sights which would likely make a better permanent mount. The 8 (night sight) and 8 red dot settings are great for adjusting size of dot and complement the tritium night sights made for the M4. I will let you know how it works out.
  15. I know everybody comments on the size, but its not a problem and I do not find it big or heavy. This is a combat weapon and a collectors item. I was more trying to emulate the famous M4 super with the M2 aimpoint. I do not plan on pumping thousands of rounds, possibly deer hunting with the field stock.
  16. Vey inovative, I agree use an allen head, perhaps reduce the pad size some and checker it if possible. What is that charging handle you have there?

  18. I am mounting a nice, very brite and small Nitecore Infinity Defender using a simple mount I found on Ebay with a 25mm x 18mm ring. The mount is two half pices held together by six small allen screws. It fits between the barrel and mag tube, clamping to the mag tube. If you are interested and need more info, just let me know.
  19. http://tinypic.com/r/2pq5gdk/5 I like the size or look and the way it works. Seems to make it very easy to aim with stock in first position - heavy? - not really, size seems proportional but perharps larger relative to the smaller devices like T1 or ?
  20. Amipoint M4 works for me. Can't seem to post photo.
  21. I agree that is a very good deal. You should try Gun Broker and use that as the starting bid. The gun should go fast. I did this and it worked well.
  22. There is currently (2) Nova H20 on Action arms and I also found another one at Beararms.com. Does anybody know the part number for the mag ext?
