The pistons should move freely that's perfectly normal the front sling attatchment point has play in it I don't think there is a matching serial# on the barrel but I can't see mine right now with all my mounted goodies so someone correct me on this one if I'm wrong Later, Hookster

No, Despite the limiter that is in place on the mag tube when you purchase the M4, The spring is same spring that Benelli uses with a full length tube. Hi NEWGUNNER, Assuming your not in CA or a state where a collapsable stock on a semi auto shotgun is a no no. You are ok adding a collapsable......However, If you are also adding a full length magazine tube as well, you'll run into 922r issues. Hey NEWGUNNER, C-stock just referred to a Benelli collapsable stock. The best place to look for one would be on Gunbroker. The Mesa stock that will be out soon will be a fixed PG stock with a shorter length of pull than the factory stock. It also offers the advantage of being a US made part to help with 922r compliance issues. Mesa does have a collapsable stock in the works but I believe it is on the back burner for now and I wouldn't expect to see it anytime soon.
