I'm sure M1014 did all sorts of unspeakable acts to raise the $

  3. I use Specter Gear slings on all my long guns I use their Benelli sling on my M4 http://www.spectergear.com/benelli_cqb_sling.htm but instead of using their rear attachment strap to attach to the buttstock sling loop, I use their buttstock shell carrier as my rear attachment point http://www.spectergear.com/shotgun_bsh.htm Later, Hookster
  4. If it fits fine GG&G should list that rear sling attachment as fitting the M4 as well as the M1 and M3. They could sell a few more! Later, Hookster
  5. Hi shotgunner.la Welcome to the forum! You can download the M2 manual as a pdf from this page of the Benelli site. http://www.benelliusa.com/downloads/manuals.php For disassembly of the recoil spring tube, I refer you to this post by forum member Remarkable (post #2 of this thread) http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9475 Later, Hookster

  7. It's going to look C:cool::cool:L!!!!!!!!
  8. Hey Skeeter, Does it look like you need to actually need to cut or Dremel any metal to make the B&T work with the Sidearmor or just remove that upper row of Allen head screws? H:cool::cool:K
  9. Lookin' Good Skeeter! Me Likey Too!!!
  10. Yup.... That's the going price from Botach which is the only place to get them as far as I know http://www.botachtactical.com/kzm4.html Hooooooookster.............................
  11. Sounds Good MG! I missed the last Cow Palace gun show but I'll be hitting the next one. I'm heading up for some snowboarding tomorrow!
  12. Hi NEWGUNNER, The DMW bolt handle does nothing for you as far as reducing your count of imported parts since bolt handle is not on the list of 13 parts. Keep your Carriercomp, replace your Fab forearm with a KZ or Surefire and install a Brownell's follower and you'll be good to go. OR you could wait a month or two and get a Mesa stock and the follower and keep your Fab forearm if you like it Later, Hookster

    M3?

+1 That is a nice price if you like it
  14. I believe there is interchangability between M1 and M3 I don't think you'll have luck between either of those and an M4 but I've never tried

    M3?

I don't know what you want out of the gun but if there isn't a reason why you'd want the pump function you might want to think about just getting an M4. I haven't fired an M3 but have picked them up and didn't really care for the feel. The forearm felt so far forward but that's just me. As far as your questions 1. Here's a gunbroker page showing a range of prices http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/SearchResults.aspx?Keywords=benelli+m3 2. Yes. CA legal as long as it doesn't have a folding stock 3 Like Dookey said...not many accessories available and I've always thought the dual function might be distracting if the gun was being used under stress Take Care, Hookster
  16. Hey KMC, If your M4 is an 11707 your good to go with a multiple posion tube Look at the end panel of the box it came in if you still have it. on the sticker with all the bar codes on it Later, Hookster
  17. Skeeter...You're going to be a YouTube Superstar! Then you'll probably have some kind of personal assistant to do all your Benelli posts
  18. Hi Prime and welcome to the forum, Having a full length tube AND a collapsable stock and being what most people consider 922r compliant is not possible with currently available parts (some people will say that if you have someone else do the mods that you personally are in compliance since you did not assemble the weapon into that configuration since the law is directed at assembly Vs possession).....I don't recommend that approach. 922r compliance is not a problem with a fixed PG stock provided you reduce your imported parts count to 10 or less. By using 1 US made full length mag tube 2 US made mag follower (like Brownells) 3 US made forend (KZ or Surefire M80) In a month or two Mesa is coming out with a fixed PG stock with a shorter LOP than the OEM stock. That stock could be used to replace #2 or #3 above. This would allow you to keep your stock Benelli grips Pics of the stock are in post #34 of this thread http://www.mesatactical.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=722&p=2 There's all you need to know in this thread: http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19539&highlight=atf+922r Happy reading! 19. Are you sure 278J (retaining tab) is threaded? It looks like it wouldn't need to be since there is a nut on the end. The spring tension behind it might just be holding it there. Try manipulating it back and forth and see if it moves
  20. Does 208J (the pin) have an allen head or some way to turn it?
  21. Looking at the exploded diagram in the spare parts booklet that comes with the manual it looks like after you remove the butt pad you need to remove part# 053J stock retaining nut 278J stock retaining piece 279J field stock retaining spring 280J stock retaining pin 280J appears to be the part that goes through the sling plate which looks like it should just push out sideways once the pin has been removed Later, Hookster
  22. If it would make things any easier for you, Specter Gear will sell you the rear attachment strap that goes with their Benelli sling as a separate item if you call them http://www.spectergear.com/benelli_cqb_sling.htm I use their buttstock shell carrier as my rear attachment point http://www.spectergear.com/shotgun_bsh.htm Later, Hookster
