  1. Hey Taylaboy, Yeah, I've looked at both and thought that the DWP knobs looked more "heavy duty" which I liked. But, if they are just unneccessarily heavy, maybe I'll reconsider. Thanks, Hookster
  2. Do the holes go through the chamber, making it unusable?....or do the bolts go above/below the actual cavity? Thanks, Hookster
  3. No issues with drilling for the DWP riser? Are the instructions they give pretty good? H:)
  4. Yup........Me Likey!!!!

IIRC it was his whole sight canted at an angle. When it was set upside down on a flat surface resting on both the rear and front sight wings, one of the front wings did not touch the flat surface. I believe Benelli CS took care of the problem for him. Hookster
  6. Yeah, I'd been using a Tango Down VFG for a while on my old upper (S&W M&P 15T) but for some reason I like the feel better without one on my MRP upper. HOOKSTA'

Ahhh...Yes! I'd forgotten about your front sight issue! H
  8. No......but maybe shag carpet would be nice
  9. Fingers grip the leading edge. I'm not making the gun show this weekend so I won't get to play with one in person and I still remain somewhat dubious as well about how comfortable it would be and if that comfort would be worth the extra weight. Later, Hookster
  10. Yeah, You would need a forend with a bottom rail to make it work on a Benelli H.....................................................
  11. Cyber-squat away!!!!!...... Hey SD what do you think of the feel of the AFG on the MRP? That is strange that it needs to be modified to work with MagPul rail covers! Later, Hookster

Hi rmlm4 and Welcome to the forum! Congrats on your new aquisition! All you should need to do is: #1 lube #2 load #3 enjoy If you do end up with any questions, there's a wealth of knowledge around here. Take Care, Hookster
  13. OMG! Call 911!! M1014 has fallen and he can't get up!
  14. Hi Amicus, Did Nordic get rid of the large white logo on the side? I'd heard that they did. I think a lot of people didn't like it. Latert, Hookster
  15. Hmmmmm......Sorry M3novice, I don't have any explanation of why it's difficult to load rounds but I'd just give it some lube and run some rounds through it and see if that improves things. Keep us posted Hookster
  16. We would appreciate a full post-fondle report!

  18. Hey All, They've added some pics of the M2 cheek riser stock prototype in post #61 of the Mesa forum stock thread http://www.mesatactical.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=722&p=3 Later, Hookster
  19. Hey M3 Quick note: I edited my response above and added some links I believe your talking about the carrier latch. Do you mean the lever that includes the bolt release button? It should allow the shells to pass into the mag tube without too much problem. I'd inspect closely for possible debris/damage/rust? does the bolt release button function well? I have an M1 and M4 so I might not know everything going on with M3s. If it appears damaged a new one can be purchased here http://www.e-gunparts.com/products_new.asp?CatID=10312 Later, Hookster
  20. Hi M3 and Welcome to the forum, It should not be "really difficult to get rounds into the mag. I'm guessing that you bought it used. Perhaps the previous owner replaced the tube spring with an improper one? Does it have an extension that has been added? I'm not aware of a receiver side shell carrier for the M3 but Specter Gear makes a nice web buttstock carrier. I use one on my M4 as my rear sling attachment point http://www.spectergear.com/shotgun_bsh.htm Meprolight Tritium Benelli sights are excellent. Here's a link http://www.officerstore.com/store/product.cfm/pid_6182_meprolight_benelli_shotgun_night_sight_ghost_ring_set/ You could also purchase this: http://www.e-gunparts.com/product.asp?chrProductSKU=741300&CatID=10312&mySort=1 And send it to these guys to install a Trijicon insert http://www.tooltechgunsight.com/ (I'd go with the Meprolights) Take Care, Hookster
  21. Hi SKYKING, I believe all your statements above are correct. Sidearmor rail would allow you to use the H1/LaRue combo. If I recall correctly Unobtanium saw only minor distortion to the sides of his Benelli OEM rail using the T1/American Defense mount combo (UNO correct me if I'm off on that last statement) Later, Hookster
  22. GUN PARTS!!!! Oh NO!!!!!! someone could put an eye out or lose a kidney!!!
