Never shoot your shotgun without a choke tube installed! CL=cylinder IC=improved cylinder M=modified IM=improved modified F=full Cylinder choke is the most open choke and there is a gradual restriction for each choke as you work into the full choke which, in standard chokes, has the tightest restriction. For a sabot slug, I believe you can use up to a modified although C and IC are recommended. Start with the cylinder and use a pattern board at 40yds to test for consistant grouping.

No, I didn't ask for a response but I am no longer experiencing the problem either.

I would suggest you check out GunBroker.com http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Browse.aspx?Cat=980 Type in - Benelli Ulta Light - in the search box(upper right hand side) and all of the Benelli UL listings will appear.

I experienced that problem when I first started shooting my Vinci, but for whatever reason, It is no longer a problem with me. The grip is a more ergonomic design than a standard grip and may be the initial cause of this "phenomenon" but, I'll bet you make a subconsious adjustment away from the issue. I have written Benelli about this issue and suggested they consider a minor change in the trigger guard configuration.

Back in the day(60's-70's)we shot 20ga sxs with #7-1/2 high brass followed by #6 over our GS pointers and never had any problems. #6's should work just fine.

From what I can find out the 2-1/2" shells are made for "vintage" single and double guns, are low pressure loads, 2-1/4 dram and are not recommended for auto loaders.

I'm in full agreement with tucker301 after what I saw this past weekend.

I do like the pattern in pic#1 for an M4 and also the pattern in pic#4 on the Sig. Appears you did an excellent job based on the pictures. No, I can't take credit for any of them, they're all done by an outfit in Wisconsin that I used for two jobs, my worn Sig P226 slide and the barrel for my HK SBEII, both done in black. Cool stuff though.
