  4. Get ready to spend some big bucks cause Benelli barrels ain't cheap, and that's if you can find one...an expensive proposition either way.
  5. I have had no problems with Carlson Chokes...I have extended tubes for my SBE and Vinci(bought thru Tom Knapp) and also a set for my 20ga Rem1100G3...plus you can save a few bucks buying directly from them...
  6. Tom Knapp also sells his signature crio chokes which are made by Carlson
  7. Not trying to be a smart azz but are you aiming correctly...front bead stacked right on top of middle bead? Are you peeking, raising your head? Jerking the trigger? Otherwise, call Benelli CS and they should make it right for you.
  8. I would think that $800-$950 would be a good price.
  9. Do you have any time frame for 20ga chokes at this time? Do you offer any discounts, ie, multiple purchases or Benelli forum users?
  10. You might have to buy a grind to fit pad as Limsaver doesn't make one to fit the "tactical" MI. They have a pretty good customer service department @ 1.877.257.2761, but order a catalog and it comes with templates to measure your stock for the right pad.
  11. Congratulations and a good choice...I'm sure you'll be happy with it. I still shoot my 18yo original wood stocked HK/Benelli SBE that came with high luster blueing and wood, not the satin finish. I've owned two SBE's, 1-20ga Montefeltro and my newest is my Vinci. As Benelli automatics go, I've got enough to last me the rest of my life and then pass them on through another generation. The new Beretta X400 is cool but damn it's expensive, especially with the kick-off system.
  12. Comfort Teck stock or wood stock - wood, black synthetic and camo...check them out here: http://www.benelliusa.com/shotguns/benelli_m2.php http://www.benelliusa.com/shotguns/benelli_montefeltro.php
  13. I'll continue on with my snail paced 30+- seconds or so...
  14. I shoot a Vinci and I'm sure your SSII will be able to handle the same loads I've been shooting at the skeet club. WalMart Federal blue box 1oz 7-1/2 or 8 for $4.67 a box and they work just fine. Congrats on the Super Sport too. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
  15. Good question. I would call Benelli Customer Service and ask that very question. Benelli USA 17603 Indian Head Hwy Accokeek, MD 20607 Phone: (301) 283-6981 Fax: (301) 283-6988
  16. Try the Tactical Store, I p/u a very nice nylon padded case for my AR15 for $40 delivered. They have all kinds of gun cases at reasoable prices. http://www.tactical-store.com/cases-gun-storage.html
  17. Point the barrel towards the target, then pull the trigger...LOL!

    Vinci's or M2

I recently bought a 26" Vinci and love it ...so easy to maintain...My 18yo HK/Benelli SBE is a super shooter still to this day too...I would say follow your gut, either way I don't think you'll make a bad choice. My Vinci is very tight and doesn't have any rattles, fit and finish are premiere and the recoil is soft and a little different...straight back...like I said, they're all winners in my opinion.
  19. Forget the Polychoke, unless it is a Polychoke was made expressly for Benelli shotguns. As for the Patternmaster, I see no problem with using it. If the M4S90 is the tactical M4, It should use a standard Benelli choke...no matter the choke manufacturer.
  20. I started shooting my first HK/Benelli SBE back in 1992 specifically for the 3-1/2" steel loads and the reliability factor over gas shotguns. 18 years later and it doesn't skip a beat although I did have some springs replaced through customer service last year, first time ever to a shop. Having gone through one S&W 1000 and two Browning A500, having reliability problems in the field with all three and several opening day treks back to the truck for another shotgun to replace my one shot autos. I'm also a stickler about cleaning them. I have also owned a synthetic SBE, 20ga Montefeltro and just purchased a new Vinci a few months ago. My Benelli changed the way I shoot...much better and the reliability, ease of maintenance makes them worth every penny I've spent for them, and I only buy when the deal is right. I'm a strong advocate of the Benelli inertia recoil system and don't expect to buy another auto-loader for the rest of my life.
  21. I love my Vinci 26" Synthetic. I've put about 350 rounds of 1oz target loads without a mis feed or failure to eject. I also put on a short gel pad as I have a 13-3/4"LOP and the felt recoil is still pretty mild. I have shot the Vinci with the standard pad and it's even softer. Assembly and dis-assembly are not a problem and pretty simple once familiar. I prefer it over the M2 just for the fit and feel. It exceeds my expectations, but each person is different. I purchased my first HK/Benelli SBE 18 years ago and still shoot it also. It is also a very tight gun, no shake-rattle and roll.
  22. I love my Vinci 26" Synthetic, how it feels and how it shoots. I was shooting 1oz target loads out of the box...no misfires or failure to feed in about 350 rounds through it. Also like the slight difference in the feel of the recoil. I also like the looks and have gotten real familiar with it.
  23. Just contact Benelli CS and I'm sure you'll get the answer or your local Benelli dealer will be able to help you.

    Any Interest?

    The 870 barrel will!
  25. The easiest gun in the world to disassemble, clean and reassemble. Once you've done it, it becomes simple, quick and easy. Good luck and enjoy the SBEII
