    M-4 fs $1300

Anybody interested should buy before they're gone...fantastic deal!
  5. I had a rust problem on my old HK SBE barrel...had it re-blued then shot it in the Calif delta, cleaned it good and got home 2 days later and the rust started forming again. I have sent it to get a Duracoating @ Jim's Gun Supply in Wisconsin along with the slide off of my Sig P226. The duracoat is extremely durable and survived a 300hr saltwater immersion test. Jim's is charging me $75 for both jobs + shipping. They do custom work too. http://www.jimsgunsupply.com/index2.html Jim's Gun Supply "I'll Get You Loaded" 1000 8th Street Baraboo, WI 53913 1-608-393-4303

    Alexander Arms ...

...and then you woke up...dazed and confused...
  7. The Ultra Light does use the CRIO chokes. Carlson's Chokes are the extended chokes I use and they're very reasonable. Don't be confused by the Crio-Plus, they're the same chokes for the Crio barrels. http://www.choketube.com/crio-plus.html
  8. I hear ya on the local, but I'm in Calif. and we have a 9.25% sales tax...a lot on a $1379 shotgun. Bought mine thru gunbroker.com for $1185 shipped+$60 DROS fee = $1245...that's definitely saving a few buck for shells.
  9. Congratulations...I've been more than pleased with my 26" at the skeet range and more and more shooters are quenching their curiosity and asking about it...some have asked to shoot it, just for the feel. I had to put a shorter recoil pad on, which has increased the felt recoil slightly (not even close to my HK/SBE though). I also changed the shim which straightened out the site picture for me. Enjoy! Only you know whether to keep the S90 or not...

    SBE back bead

Check with your local gunsmith...pretty simple fix.

  12. I had the same experience with my Vinci when I first shot it. Only happened a couple of times and now that I'm comfortable with the gun, it's a non-issue.

    HK SBE Camo

Might be a tad to high priced. I do see them on GunBroker for $700-$1100
  14. Wish I needed one, but it sounds like a more than fair price.
  15. I'm very satisfied with my Tom Knapp(Carlson)Extended tubes. I have Carlson Chokes for my SBE and my Rem 1100G3 20ga.
  16. I've read and been told to stay away from the multi-chokes. Check Cabelas.com and read the customer comments about them.
  17. RW...I love mine also, same one as you. I've put about a case through it mixed between 1-1/8 and 1 oz loads. Can't wait for Dove season to start.
  18. I would think $900 - $1000 including the mag extention would be more than fair. Is it Camo, black synthetic or wood? Midway USA sells the Nordic Components magazine extentions for $80
  19. Think about a purchase from Gunbroker.com. I picked mine up for $1150 new. I was shooting max dram 2-3/4" 1oz loads on the first day without any problems.
  20. Fantastic and congrats. You spend $1200 on a gun, working gun or not, there shouldn't be any flaws. To accept otherwise encourages mediocrity.
  21. Give their customer service a call and they should be able to provide the information you need. I think all of the Montefeltros are wood stocked, so you may have to have it shortened by a competent gunsmith. Benelli USA phone: (301) 283-6981
  22. I would suggest Carlson Chokes. I have them for modt of my shotguns, Rem 1100G3-20ga, HK/Benelli SBE and my Vinci...Great chokes, reasonably priced with quantity/price discounts. http://www.choketube.com/crio-plus.html
  23. You should take the gun back to where you bought it, let them check it out and tell them you situation. They should call the area rep and explain the situation to him/her and seek their help. A buddy of mine just went through a CS problem with his M2. He tried to handle it himself and got nowhere with them. Eventually the local rep intervened and everything was good 4 months later.
  24. Gotta read a little closer, "extra" was the key word. I have two sets, one was a gift and the other I purchased. I also recieved a set of Brileys as a gift.
  25. I agree with you about the shouldering "theory". Tom and Tim have been shooting Benellis that way for years...not an issue. I've owned 4 Benellis. My 18 y/o HK-SBE finally needed some TLC from the CS dept after 17 years. My new Vinci has been perfect out of the box also. My other two, a synthetic SBE and a Montefeltro 20ga have never given me any problems either, other than my errors. I have had new shells with small deformities at the crimp catch on the sharp edge of the chambers entry point, but even that is rare. Hope you problem is just a mechanical parts flaw and I'm sure CS will cure wht ails your Cordobas. Good luck!
