IF you would like to spend all of your money on things that are useless and retarded then be my guest. ill send you a pm with the link myself. But if you like peaceful forums please by all means stay away from shotgun forums. I promised a "friend" i would post this and to state my true feelings about the site. I joined a while back because i was literally clueless about shotguns including the one I had recieved for christmas! (my pride and joy supernova), well i came to that site with an open mind and ready to learn. Not knowing anything i completely got played. I was told to NEVER use the brenneke black magics! they were death in a box. It seemed later on down the road it was the best patterning slugs i had ever used. This was not a one time thing. This happened with my scope, my ammo, my choke tubes, EVERYTHING! I was told to NEVER use a rifled choke tube, that they wouldnt make a bit of difference. I was told that Sabots would be my best bet and i went out and spent an assload of money on sabots when i shortly after found that rifled ammo was better! JCCHARTBOY!.. what can i say about the old boy. STAAY AWAY.. i was warned when i first got to the forum to stay away from one member. I wont say who told me to stay away from him but it was more than 3 members. Well i thought at first they were being childish and its just a forum how bad could it get. well.. real bad. May be a bigger trouble maker than myself as bad as that sounds! haha.. the guy constantly argues and trys to prove why he is better. I was told by one of the SAME members that warned me that his "custom" savage 210's only patterned a 4 inch spread. so i now wonder why I was taking his advice about slug hunting to begin with. I just want to warn everyone and to thank everyone. THere has been nothing but niceness here and quality information. It could be because you guys are familiar with benelli's and that forum has no knowledge of benelli at all! they think all weapons should shoot as shOtty as that "custom" savage. YOu guys have really helped me and i want to say thank you to every single person on this forum. Tyson, Quacker, Trap,... you guys are just a few that i really want to give credit to. Tyson especially becuase he took the time to PM to give me hints/tricks/tips on all kinds of hunting and really changed the way i hunt. Your patience and kindness make this the most pleasing forum on the net. You guys dont know how far kindness and politness really goes. Some people could really take note of this. Thank you all.. for the guidence. BENELLI.. simply perfect. that goes for the forum too!

have you ever used any GL's?

the nova is clark kent.. but the SUPERnova.. well you know the story.. my good buddies have stoegers and they havent had any problems out of em. if you get a supernova.. the comfortech is the way to go. you would be supprised at the difference. but the stoeger is a great gun but i have to be bias because i have a supernova. so ima say supernova. but its all about the MONAYYY. if you have it to spend on a supernova.. spend it. if you dont.. stoeger is a NICE gun!

really? now ive tried the black magics and had great success, but you say the green lightnings are good? what firearm/choke are you using?

hahah well atleast you admit it! i will admit that im very proud of my gun and the way it patterns! from the day i got it ive treated it like a baby! I always put my patterns up where everyone can see em! and i clean it everytime it leaves the case! i polish the scope and shine up everything! I paniced the other day when i fell on some satanic ice and busted my ass along with slamming all my weight, (even though its only about 155) down on my scope! but i went and shot it to make sure it was still on, its was JUST FINE! great scope for the money! but i never would have gotten anywhere if it hadnt been for you guys and all your advice! with chokes,ammo,optics, techniques, and tips! thanks for all your help!

hahah those are PIMP! i just had a sharpie and an old test from college! didnt have any trouble putting it to rest! but before turkey season ill have to get some of those! Definately going up on the fridge! haha

First i want to publically thank quakerboy,tyson, and bignotti for all their advice and help! The range finder said 32 yards, so give or take a couple yards for this fellas. over all im pretty happy! the redneck artwork was done by yours truly and all i had was duct tape and a black ball point! nooot bad for an 8X10 piece of paper! if i could have had a 30 inch circle i would have liked to have seen how much of the pattern was present.

none of my buddies have a benelli. Im proud to say after the first couple of pattern tests last year i was the envy of the bunch! Mossy and remmy cant hold a candle! but i am gunna take a ride to bass pro sunday so il see what i can find!

you are the man, you didnt have to go out of the way for the pattern! i trusted you but thanks man! that is a great pattern at 45 yards, if i find a choke/shot pattern that patterns like this at 45 yards ill probably stick with it. i just got some advice from another member that says that the flight control like really open chokes like MOD chokes. I think im gunna run out and get the ammo and shoot it through my full and my mod before i go out and buy a brand new X-full choke. but if i dont get the right results with those chokes then i will still be in the hunt for a good choke/shot combo! thanks to everyone.

give the remington accutip a shot.. literally. supposedly the most accurate sabot slug and its .58 caliber so it backs quite the punch. they arent that expensive compared to some slugs ive seen.

but.. but.. i.. but.. haha well lets venture away from carlsons for a second.. i want an unported turkey choke and want something that will give me a good pattern in my supernova. Any ideas?

field slug gun? are we talking rifled barrell or field barrell? i cant help you when talking about a rifled barrel.. but for field barrel go with an Ic or rifled choke tube with Brenneke black magics in 3 inch. or maybe federal truball's! pick something and head to the range.
