  1. Very nice!!!!! Love Mopars I have you beat though.. 461 cubic inches of aluminum LS GM small-block in my 68 Camaro
  2. You sound like the goverment dictating what is a "fair" amount for people to make. It's called the free market.. something is worth what someone is willing to pay. If a price is too high is won't sell and eventually the price will come down. Maybe take an Econ class???
  3. What if you have a M1014 that doesn't collaps (just looks like it could)?? Does that mean my M1014 here in CA is out of compliance with the following: Your Ti mag tube Brownells follower Surefire forearm Thanks
  4. I'm working with a friend that has a mill.. we are working out how to mill a flat spot on the factory M4 forend to mount a small rail just big enough for a light. Will let you guys know how it works out.
  5. And it looks like it comes in tan also...
  6. Yea, for sure. I took it to the range yesterday for the first time.. holy crap, I've never shot so well! lol This LB makes me look good.. the trigger is sweet.
  7. I have some VZ Operator II gips (hyiena brown) with the fancy screws on the way..
  8. I had been wanting a high end .45 for some time now and when this came up for sale used it was perfect. Has about 1,000 rnds though her which is just enough to break it in. New she cost $2500ish and this one had the LB magwell added for another $250. So with tax it would have cost me near three grand new (and a wait). Picked it up for $1800 and it has the presentation case, all the paperwork, signed papers and and extra set of 10-8 micarta black grips -- Nice knowing it's a hand build all USA weapon. The pistol racks like it's riding on butter and just feels "right" in the hand. I've been out of town a lot and plan on shooting it this weekend. When my rail gets here from Kip I'm ordering up my T1 for my M1014
  9. I get a kick out of people reviewing a product when they've never held said product.. it's comedy gold. ****, I like this just for the "conforming to fed law" standpoint and it would let me ditch my Surefire foregrip that feels big compared to the stocker.
  10. Wow.. sorry to head that you were injured.. I'm still recovering from a broken hand and that was bad enough! Get better fast, and stop doing whatever you did to get all busted up..
  11. Faulting a pistol that isn't a 1911 for "being different than a 1911" is sorta silly. I have a .45 USP full sized and it shoot beautifully. The double recoil buffer spring arrangement works great and follow up shots are easy. The trigger is good, not spectacular, but for this type of weapon it's pretty good. Overall quality is what you would expect of an HK. Unlike many 1911s it can be carried "cocked and locked" .. and yes, the mag drop could use a slight redesign for better ergonomics. As for not being on the list.. just keep an eye on Calguns.net and wait for a "used" one to pop up for sale.. then you can FTF buy it. The list only applies to buying new from an FFL. In summary, great weapon that you can put your trust into.
  12. M1 Super 90 for $1000 - low round count. I don't know the seller.. just thought it was a good deal for someone lookin' http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=298366
  13. Sorry then.. I thought you meant "in general".. I have the tube and it's everything people say it is.. I work for a car magazine and parts rarely fit as advertised.. this one did
  14. Not finding it.. just tube shots...
  15. $2,800??? wow... I paid $1,100 for mine.. sure it had been shot, but still. I guess for a collector, do the changes made hurt it in that way? Also, seems like wouldn't be 922r compliant.
  16. My two are a H&K .45 and a SIG 225 9mm... If I had a third it would be my Ruger SP101 since it's pretty much a tank. They all serve different purposes, right tool for the right job and all of that.
  17. What makes you think non of us has gotten product? I ordered and two weeks later my Ti tube arrived.. I'm a technical editor and I will tell you that the workmanship was flawless. Even more importantly it fit the weapon perfectly with zero drama. I install stuff all the time and I know how rare that is. So, like many others, I have his product and can attest to it's quality.
  18. For the record I would buy Panabax's piston if it's offered for sale.
  19. I suggest deleting this whole thread (or at least the last few pages) and just selling these made in USA pistons.. Just saying..
  20. She has my vote.. that there is some change I can believe in..
  21. Another fixated on race.. sort of sad really. Anyways.. lets see.. how do you get experience to be President?? Well, being the position is a lot like being a CEO or running a large business. Nope, he never did that... Or how about running a large city, like mayor of LA, Chicago or NY.. uh.. nope. Maybe being a governor of State.. that is a LOT like being President.. Obama was a great Governor.. oh wait, my bad. Traditionally Senators don't get elected to President because their job is NOTHING like a President.. it's legislative while the Presidency is executive. It happens, unfortunatly Obama wasn't even one of them very long. So, what was he? He was a community organizer.. lol.. really? His greatest accomplishment was running a good campaign. Of course Bush f'd things up so bad in his second term that a ham sandwich could have won if the Dem could have ran one. Instead we got the coke head, empty suit, man of mystery that hung out with racist preachers and quasi-terrorists.. The "religious guy" that for some strange reason has yet to find a church since getting elected. He promised transparency, 5 day bill reviews, no lobbiests, and a host of other stuff that just turned out to be political ******** even worse than we're use to. It's a shame since I think many were really buying into the "hope and change" mantra.. but so far the change has only been in the negative catagory. With any luck he can be slowed down so we're not completely bankrupt by 2012. I respect the office of President, but in this case I don't respect the man.
