When making adjustments to the pad, I recommend holding the pad with a wrench on the flats. This will take the load off of the pressed in place button. SD - Would you elaborate on your suggestion? Ty

Another worthy consideration would be to upgrade the bolt release pad as seen HERE.

Look HERE It may be simpler to sell your 11707 and buy a 11717.

Check GB for the same exact photo from another seller's listing. That's an obvious tip-off that's it's bogus.

Is your M4 a 11717 or a 11707?

Are the magazine cap retaining pin and spring both present? Do you hear a clicking sound when tightening it?

It's Cerakote H-190+ ? + limited hardener.The first application had a semi-gloss finish which was completely refinished with what you see. Do emphasize the matte finish to your applicator.
