  4. Hey quick question. How is that stock in terms of play on the tube. Is it nice and snug.........or a little loose? Does it rattle at all when it's locked into position.
  5. It would be nice to have some real world perspective on the c-stock. By that I mean someone from the military/LEO that has had to use them in real tactical situations.

You really have to check this **** out with a real class III dealer in YOUR state. They will know what you NEED to do. I'm in Oregon and I just checked two days ago. I can install a full length mag tube, collapsible stock, yada yada, and it isn't a problem. The law basically states that you can't reconfigure a weapon to it's un-importable state. The Benelli M4 is imported in a few configurations and even though Benelli won't sell certain ones and their corresponding parts to civilians, it doesn't mean it's illegal to own them.
  7. No worries broseefus. I wasn't trying to rain on your parade, just stating a personal preference.
  8. This is kinda what I'm thinking. Don't get me wrong, a 14" barrel would be great for tight quarters/home defense and the like but if all they did was to cut down an 18" barrel, I don't think I'm interested. If it had a threaded barrel so I could put a breeching choke on it, or Kip's new muzzle break thingy, then it would make it much more attractive, to me. Also, I think I like having the extra capacity, esp. with my new Kip tube, over the shorter length. I'll be excited to see skeeteronmypeter's pics though.
  9. I talked with the guy selling these today. Evidently, these barrels are ones that Botach had Benelli do special. From what I was told, the barrels were brought in from Italy as the standard M4 18.5 in. and then were cut down by Benelli USA to 14". In fact, he said specifically that they have the same markings as the 18.5 barrels. Also, they are IC sized and are not threaded for chokes. I don't know if he was feeding me a line of but it's what he said. Maybe Skeeteronmypeter can enlighten us when he gits hiz.
  10. I suspected as much and it's nice to hear someone with some experience actually say it. As cool as I think the collapsible stocks look, the price you have to pay to get one is simply rediculous. You couple that with the fact that Mesa Tactical is coming out with the Urbino in collaboration with one of the largest LEO's in the country and you quickly see how well regarded those Benelli collapsible stocks must be. Thanks Duggan.
  11. You're welcome. FWIW, I run a small welding/fabrication business and most of what I do is assemble/weld product that is destined for retail sale. All of it is done on contract with a couple of clients that I have and they supply me with the materials and I fabricate their product for them. While none of it is my design, I have been involved with the development of a few things over the years and can honestly say that it's never a picnic trying to bring new products to market. Keep up the good work and put me down for those M4 parts that are on the way. If the quality is anything like the mag tube I recently got, it will be worth the wait. Here is a link to a little of what I do. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Eugene-OR/KB-Fabrications-LLC/109880982386571

  13. Just a bit of the carnage.
  14. Bagged this guy Saturday morning with my Super Sport using an Indian Creek choke and Hevi-Shot #6. Head shot at 20 yards.
