  1. I have a SNT Comfortech stock that I will swap you for your pistol grip version. PM me and we'll go over the details.
  2. Too much gold for me. Looks kinda like "pimp my gun".
  3. Took 5 weeks from order to the door for my carriercomp tube. Didn't mind the wait one bit.
  4. Guess there were no takers for $729 on Gunbroker.
  5. Yeah, right, I'm gonna pay over $700 for a stock on a shotgun that cost me $400.
  6. It's too bad that Benelli doesn't do a better job of matching the look of that standard stock to the forend. The checkered inlay makes it look like a mis-match of sorts. The standard stock on the Supernova is a better match with it's lines around the grip.
  7. Patience is all I can say. I will most likely be going the Urbino route myself and it will be well worth the wait. And, I won't have spent $800 on a stupid Benelli collapsible.
  8. What's up with the availability on those SN collapsible stocks? is Benelli importing them? Are there any restrictions?
  9. You can hotlink smilies from almost any forum that allows unrestricted reading access. I have hundreds that I have found over the last few years from various sites. If you right-click on one you can save them to a file or you can just go to properties and hotlink them that way.
  10. I completely disagree with this. The fact is, firearms today are assembled without much regard to cleanliness. That means small particles from the machining process can, and do, get left on moving parts. A couple of Marlin's I recently purchased were a testament to this. Then, whatever they use for corrosion while getting boxed and transported to wherever get's co-mingled with all that stuff and IMHO it's a bad recipie for beginning the functional use of a firearm. Do what you want but at a minimun you should always field strip a new firearm and clean and lubricate all the moving/mating surfaces. It ensures that all your parts will funtion properly and also helps to familiarize you with your new weapon. YMMV. EDIT: The other thing that I have encountered from time to time is that manufacturing tolerances vary widely among different firearms. IMHO, If you have one that is tight it is important that you have it clean AND lubricated in order to ensure proper break-in.
  11. Mine showed up yesterday. Awesome quality and well worth the 5 week wait..........thanks Kip!
  12. Then why in the **** won't Benelli just bring some in?
  13. Fair enough. The only thing I would say is try to make that more clear when you post. What I can appreciate is that a couple of sarcastic lines can be construed a bunch of ways and it seems like I took it in a way that you didn't intend. Consequently, that might lead me to believe you weren't being respectful to someone, who it seems, may be sending parts to our boys who are in harms way. Again, it looks like I took it in a way that you didn't intend. That being said, I appreciate you clarifying what your intent was. I'm new here and just recently learned of Kip and what he is doing. My tube is on order and should be here any day. I will be ordering his other parts as they become available and I wish him all the best in his endeavors.
  14. Maybe, maybe not. I get the sense, from Kip's posts and the info on the website, that they are involved in filling orders for their current product line for more customers than those here on this forum. I read something about orders from the military, maybe this is part of the holdup on the other parts. Who knows. I bet he is busy in his shop doing what he does so cut him some slack. Whatever the case, maybe have a little respect for a former Marine and what he's trying to do? Otherwise, you can always go get the current aftermarket stuff that is available for the M4.
  15. Dagnabbit!!! Hope mine gets here soon.
  16. I don't think they will. The gel pads are a simple pop-in fit and IIRC, the pistol grip of the M1Super90 has a screw-on rubber pad.
  17. Ok, got my post count up. Let's try this pic thing.
  18. I wouldn't think the line is a problem. I have it on mine and it looks like it's just there to keep you from overtightening it. No ideas about the metal sliver.
