I haven't been able to pull the trigger on this yet but I did just talk to a tech at Pro Mag and he indeed confirmed that this is real and they are available. He also indicated that he had heard that these were being produced in conjunction with Benelli somehow. In fact, he thought that Benelli had asked Pro Mag to make this part given all the import restrictions on the original factory model. I also pointed out to him about the 4 position mistake and he was going to look into getting that info changed. If this thing is the real deal, the OEM C-stock market just went belly up.

If you have them unscrewed but they are still not wanting to come out, it's most likely the o-rings. Just keep turning and gently pull outward and they should come free.

Yep. I have two loads that I can send you. One is 1 1/8 oz and the other is 1 oz, both #8 shot. Both will cycle through my M4 just fine and it would be interesting to see how they stack up. PM me your addy and how many of each you want.

Do you have fore/aft play? IIRC, there are some little nubs on the end of the fore grip that fit into the receiver, at least that's the way it is on my Super Sport. Are they present on yours?

I've been meaning to document this on video for a while and was doing some cleanup today so I thought, what the heck. This is my current set up in a small wing off of my main shop. I know I know, it's kinda clean. I load for two rifle calibers, 5 pistol/revolver calibers, and 12/20 gauge.
