Wow that color doesn't look good at all......at least in the pics. Almost looks like powder coat or something like it. If memory serves, the OEM version is hard coat anodized. At least it's an option though and I'm glad it's available......for now anyway.

Hey Ally, welcome to the forum. Did you buy the stock new in the box? Is it a genuine Benelli C-sstock? I know that benelli changed screws at some point from phillips to allen head..........what are yours? My two have all the same grey/black phillips head screws but they are both at least a couple of years old. I wouldn't make anything of it really but if it bugs you you could source new ones by finding out the size and thread pitch. They are metric.

As a side, I have nothing but good things to say about Impact. They got me my Benelli M4 SBS 11722 for &1769 shipped although it took 15 months. That wasn't anything they did, it was simply how long it took them to get it from Beretta Defense. Thankfully, Beretta is out of the picture on the M4 NFA stuff and Impact seems to have the 11722 in stock on a regular basis.

Ok..........it looks to me like, after seeing your pics, that you simply aren't putting enough pressure on the button to get it past the end of the tube. I can think of no other explanation. I remember when I installed one beefwhore that it really took a LOT of effort on the button to get it to go. It seems like you are going to break something but your not.

Ok.....had a chance to put 50 rounds through the shorty yesterday. I used some fairly warm 2 3/4" high brass hand loads and had zero malfunctions. The gun ran like a champ. That said, there is significantly more recoil with the 14" barrel as opposed to my other one with the 18.5" barrel. The barrel length and extra mass made more difference than I would have thought. I still like it.

I have to say that it is kind of unusual for me. However, that piece of phallic cheese came here to our sandbox and defecated on it with such impunity that I think it may have worked one of my screws loose.
