I really feel bad for you guys. This THE most emotionally driven, knee jerk legislation I have ever witnessed. Not limited to California either but the draconian level that they are taking this to is astonishing. Zero common sense is being displayed here and the facts mean absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, the police are indiscriminately shooting at those they think might be Dorner and setting the stage for becoming a police state. God help us.

Or you could simply take your regular old Benelli M4 and spend all that money and time on ammo and go have some fun. I know it's what I'd do. lol!

One of my friends sent me this. It's from a gun dealer that posted this on his FB page earlier today. I don't have a link to it but my friend says he thinks it's pretty solid intel. Looks kind of bleak... Status of gun industry Attention F.B. fans: to follow will be several IMPORTANT Info updates about the status of the gun industry currently, followed by an INVENTORY UPDATE: We traveled to Texas for Industry meetings concerning the shortages, here's what we were told. Smith & Wesson-is running at Full capacity making 300+ guns/day-mainly M&P pistols. They are unable to produce any more guns to help with the shortages. RUGER: Plans to increase from 75% to 100% in the next 90 days.FNH: Moving from 50% production to 75% by Feb 1st and 100% by March 1.Remington-Maxed out! Armalite: Maxed out. DPMS: Can't get enough parts to produce any more product. COLT: Production runs increasing weekly...bottle necked by Bolt carrier's. LWRC:Making only black guns, running at full capacity...can't get enough gun quality steel to make barrels. Springfield Armory: Only company who can meet demand but are running 30-45 days behind. AMMO: Every caliber is now Allocated! We are looking at a nation wide shortage of all calibers over the next 9 months. All plants are producing as much ammo as possible w/ of 1 BILLION rounds produced weekly. Most is military followed by L.E. and civilians are third in line. MAGPUL is behind 1 MILLION mags, do not expect any large quantities of magpul anytime soon. RELOADERS... ALL Remington, Winchester, CCI & Federal primers are going to ammo FIRST. There are no extra's for reloading purposes... it could be 6-9 months before things get caught up. Sorry for the bleak news, but now we know what to expect in the coming months. Your math doesn't necessarily work that way when you factor in spring compression. Seriously, try some other ammo and see if you have different results. Hookster means by "new users" that it is a common thing to those new to the Benelli M4. Tight tolerances mean less wiggle room with capacity than the shottys you are used to. You can also experiment with spring length. Often times you can trim length with no ill feeding effect. I'd try a few different brands of shells tho first.

Try a different brand of shells. They can vary in length which would result in only 4 going into the mag.

lol i just went through the same thing. It took 7 months from the time they cashed my check until the stamp got to my dealer. You're gonna love it.

Why don't you try them both and shoot your shotgun with both and see if you have any issues?

Given the M4 is THE military shotgun..........I don't see it having a snowballs chance in h e l l of staying off of any ban list. That said, I don't see it happening to begin with so I'm optimistic.

Yes it is switchable. He will need to send you the "shiny" dealy bobber though as that is what facilitates the attachment of the Comfortech stock. The collapsible one doesn't need it.

It's funny..........I have several bottles of that stuff that Benelli includes with each weapon and I use that liberally over the BCG. I use some extreme duty grease on the sear contact points but very little. I've had zero issues on both my M4's.

Is your barrel equipped with rifle sights or a cantilever scope mount? I have an unfired badger Barrel that is blued for a Super Nova with a cantilevered scope mount that I might trade if yours has the same mount.

Which is why I won't buy the Mesa part. I don't like them for a number of reasons and won't support them with this. I'm gonna keep trying to find out what those Magpul boys were using.

Oh well......thanks for the info. I really wish there was a better option for the c-stock. In the Magpul video, they show a quick glimpse of something they are using on their c-stock equipped M4 but all my efforts to locate what it is have been unsuccessful thus far.
