  1. The US made hammer, either from Geisselle or FFT, would be the easiest part to add IMO. All you need is a pair of snap ring pliers and the part is a drop-in replacement. I've done it to one of mine and it's super easy. The Geisselle part is of superior quality. I have no experience with the one from FFT. http://shop.carriercomp.com/product.sc?productId=15&categoryId=5 http://freedomfightertactical.com/products-page/922r-compliant-trigger-parts/the-freedom-fighter-tactical-922r-compliant-hammer/
  2. There is really no need to heat the receiver. When I did mine, I used a Milwaukee heat gun on the low (500 watt) setting and focused the heat on the portion of the stock tube just next to the receiver. The steel is so thin that it heats up much faster than trying to apply the heat to the aluminum. Then, I started to see the loctite smoke just a bit and started the turning process. It took a couple more applications of heat to the tube to completely loosen the grip of the loctite. Once that was done it unscrewed without any trouble. I know that there are those that have done this mod heating the receiver with no issue but I would much rather distort the finish on the tube, that I won't be using ever again, than to risk damage to the receiver finish. YMMV.
  3. +100! I can't believe ANYONE would give this kind of service.
  4. Agreed. It made me wonder that very thing given how fast they sold out.
  5. If you mount a VFG........where are you going to put the grenade launcher?

    M4 5 +1 ?

Should have the ability for 5 + 1 + 1 but sometimes that can depend on your ammo. What are you putting in there and have you tried another brand?
  7. lol Uno! All I ordered was two, one for each of my M4's. Now my "muted" ones are going feel neglected.
  8. Holy Crap!!! They are sold out already!!! From the site: Tactical Black (SOLD OUT, New batch shipping out for PVD coating late July, anticipated availability BEFORE mid August)

    Meet Charlene!

    Hahaha!!! That's RIDICULOUS!!!
  10. Cool.....thanks for the clarification. What variant of the Leupold do you have (dot size) ?
  11. If you are referring to the bolt handle, it doesn't look very "black". Is this the offering from Kip? If so, they still aren't listed so how did you get it?
  12. WTF are you talking about?
  13. Not interested. :-/
  14. I have installed one and didn't have that problem with the button. Seems like the button is hard to push just to get the stock on the tube but after that, it should be fine. I assume you got the pistol grip part on OK?
  15. Bumpity bump bump.!
  16. I wasn't able to find anything like that either. I ended up with an AR style soft case from 5.11 and while it isn't as svelte as I'd like, it has ended up being a great case.
  17. Word..........!
  18. Yes.....with a caveat. Sometimes when breaking in a new M4 you might have cycling issues with the cheap stuff. That's not to say it will never cycle it but you may have to run some hotter stuff in it before it will cycle the lighter loads. The bearing surfaces of the carrier group will need to be well lubricated and may need a little "burnishing". Mine will cycle the low dram stuff no problem but I did run a few hundred "hot" rounds that I loaded myself. Just lube it and try it out. Worst thing that can happen is you have a few FTF's beefwhore it gets worked in.
  19. I have two Benelli ComforTech stocks for sale. The first one is a take off from my Super Nova Tactical (SOLD) but is "as new". The second one is a NIB Benelli part no. 83100 that the box states is for the SBE II/M2 but I believe it will also fit the Super Nova. Neither one comes with a recoil pad but they both take the standard snap in Benelli pads. $220 shipped USPS Priority for each stock.
  20. I have one available. PM me for details.
  21. I have a new one I would consider selling. PM me for details.
