Tru that. This is the Winchester PDX out of my Super Nova Tactical at 20 yards. Still pretty tight at that range but I imagine it opening up quite a bit beyond that.

They, at a minimum, have what looks to be a souped-up M2 from the Performance Shop aimed at the 3 gun crowd. It's the first thing that pops up on the main website.

I just called and they answered the phone. Maybe they shut down for the holidays? Not unheard of.

Weight......

Might be nice to know which gun it's for.

Then there is the obvious bonus of the corrosion resistance properties of ti.

Well as my status indicates, I'm in Oregon and yes it was at a preserve.

My friend and I filled our tags in 2 hours this morning. I shot my two with my Sport II 20 gauge using 3" Hevi-Metal #4 shot.

Yes, you absolutely need to do this to remove the trigger group. What you need is two small sections of steel rod that will slip fit into the holes on the ring. Once you have that, then it's a simple matter of lefty loosey. Use the rods on opposing side holes of the ring and loosen. You have to re-adjust often.

Pretty sure that Kip's only making them for the M4. Briley makes one for the M1 however. I have Briley bolt handles on my Super Sport 12 ga and my Sport II 20 ga and they are very nice. http://www.briley.com/BenelliBoltOperatingHandle-OnepieceBlack.aspx

I guess I should clarify. The two reviews I read said that the multiple gas ports for the different size shells was a gimmick. Benelli's M4 seems to be able to shoot a multitude of 2 3/4" and 3" shells with only 2 gas ports.

Sorry I gave you bad intel beefwhore. Here is a like I found from a google search. http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=103439

Just choose Benelli in the drop down menu and the length you want. It says M1, M2, SBE, SBEII, but it will fit the SS. http://shop.nordiccomp.com/NC-Shotgun-Extension-Complete-Assemblies-for-12ga-12GA-EXT.htm

I can tell you that while it's a direct copy of the M4 gas system, it's no M4. All the Versa Max's I have see I have put right back on the shelf. They are heavy and don't have anywhere near the fit and finish of a Benelli. Also, the actions are rough out of the box and while that may not affect function, it sure doesn't inspire confidence after spending what they want for them. A field version is only a couple hundred away from a nice Benelli and If I'm going to pay that much for a shotgun, I'd take the Benelli over e Remington any day. I have read lots of articles linked from Shotgunworld and most have been less than stellar. There are a couple where the reviewers basically came to the conclusion that the multiple gas port thing is just a gimmick.

The one you want is the Benelli Legacy. It shares a manuel with the Super Sport and a few other models.

" Really? Please tell me why a shotty that short would benefit from "chocks"? I mean really.

Just because the ATF's "whatever", doesn't make the Saiga worth the prices they are fetching. I had a chance to buy one a few months back stock for $550 and I passed. I just couldn't get past how "cheaply" made they seemed to me. Now, I have seen stock ones going for upwards of $850 because of all this ATF crap. Ridiculous. On a good day those things are worth maybe $300 to "me". Good luck dude.

The receiver is aluminum and I'm not sure of the coating process but I would think it to be normal for that to happen at some point, especially on the rails. I have a SS that has about the same round count but no finish coming off. What do you use to clean/lube with? Sometimes different products can have an adverse effect different finishes.

Ask and you shall receive.

+1.....Big pain trying to add those to a gun that has rifle sights. First, you are going to have to remove the ones on your barrel that are brazed on from the factory. Then, you have to re-braze the front ghost ring and then drill your receiver to accept the rear ghost ring. Even if you have the capacity to do this kind of work yourself, you'd still be better off just selling what you have and getting the one you want.

I would get Warnes.

Hey thanks!.. He's a full pic.

if you want a perfect match to your weapon, get the DG Parkerized one. If you want a dull titanium look, get the muted one. If you want to bling out, get the "bright polished version. It really doesn't matter, they are all the same tube. Do what makes you feel good.
