  1. Not really. I've had them for a while and I didn't want to buy a new set of rings when these were not being used. In addition, this will be a short use barrel each season and I have another rifle that I can use this scope on so for me, it does make sense. YMMV
  2. I ended up using a set of Warne QD medium height rings on mine. The cantilever mount actually sits almost flush with the receiver and there is a small set screw in the back designed to take up any space on the fit. With the med. rings, I get the scope in the proper position for me and my size. Lows would have made it sit wrong for me and I would not get a good sight picture. As it sits now, it's just right and I'm 5'9" and about 180#. As far as a recoil pad, you can get the ones that are for the comfortech stock but I am unsure if they fit the steady grip. They are pretty spendy as well. Limbsaver makes one that's supposed to fit the Benelli stocks and I think this is the one. https://www.limbsaver.com/store/product.php?productid=16244&cat=266&page=1
  3. Sigh.....not yet. Been too busy reloading several hundred 12 gauge shells and shootin' my new .45.
  4. The Barrels for Nova/Super Nova are interchangeable. You can order the barrel directly from Badger. http://www.badgerbarrelsinc.com/index.php Their website is not up to date so it's best to call them. My barrel did not come with standard sights and you would have to ask them about that option.
  5. No, $219 was only for the barrel.
  6. I actually just received a Badger slug barrel for my Super Nova field. The barrel is 24", fully rifled, and has a cantilevered scope mount (I prefer) instead of rifle sights. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but I have bore sighted the scope and have some Remington Accu-tip sabot slugs to sight it in with. Full report when I git er done. Until then here ya go. Cost was $219 and $20 to ship direct from Badger.
  7. Well, at least he didn't leave any tissues lying around.
  8. I'm sure it appeals to a "certain" crowd.
  9. Got mine today as well. Won't get to install it for a couple days but don't anticipate any problems. Thanks Kip!!!
  10. Hey would you mind telling me who you had do the dipping in APG? Thanks.
  11. I don't know definitively but I'm sure it can be done. Those mounts are add-ons at some point in the mfg'ing process anyway so it's just a matter of finding the mount. I just ordered a slug barrel for my Super Nova and it has a cantilever mount. I bought it from these guys. http://www.badgerbarrelsinc.com/ Maybe give them a call and see if they will put one on your existing barrel. If not, maybe they would sell you the mount and you could have a smith install it.
  12. I have another one on the way. This one is an 11722 M4 14" Entry model. Got notification today that it's about 4 weeks out.
  13. No, it would have to be an NFA part (like a 14" barrel) for you to get into trouble for "constructive possession". The C-stock is not such a part.
  14. Thanks for your candor. I will most likely pass due to the warranty uncertainty and your FFL preference. I wish you luck though.
  15. Just out of curiosity, I have a few questions about this potential transaction. First, in your opinion, what are the benefits of owning the LE designated 11721 versus owning the model 11707 with an added OEM C-stock? Being a "purist", I assume there are specific reasons for owning the 11721 versus the 11707 and adding an OEM C-stock later. I am genuinely curious to know your thoughts on this. Second, What benefits do you see in terms of the factory installing the C-stock versus that item being installed at a later date by the end user? Third, since you purchased this M4 under the designation of "Law Enforcement", what are the options for warranty service should it be needed. It's my understanding that in order for LE sales, there must be some sort of Department paperwork involved in order for you to legally procure the weapon. That would mean that technically, as far as Beretta Defense is concerned, the weapon is more than likely tied in some way to the LE department it was originally procured through. Is this going to pose a problem in terms of potential warranty service for the individual who purchases this weapon? Lastly, if it were me purchasing this, would you be willing to do the transfer FFL to FFL? Thanks in advance for considering the questions that are important to me regarding this potential sale.

    M4 Cheek Riser

Scroll down to the bottom of the first link. Second one shows some more examples. Something like this should work. There are others out there if you do a google search. http://www.swshotguns.com/html/accessories.html http://www.accu-riser.com/categories/Accu%252dRiser-Cheek-Pads-and-Comb-Raisers/
  17. I know that Todd at FFT would most likely take back/swap out the forearm if you gave him a call, even if you bought it from a forum member. He's a good guy to deal with and will stand behind his product.
  18. Just my opinion, but it would look better with the PG sleeve and the recoil pad black instead of FDE.
  19. +2 #8 and ordered mine this morning.
  20. I heard he's kinda hot too.
