Yup, if ya'll did not know, Benelli now has the M4 H2os available again with the aluminium stock and 18 inch magazine tubes, they look exactly like 2012 H2O's including the box. These are suppose to be only available for law enforcement:rolleyes: for $2,699 USD.

Its always been a waiting game. Bought my M1014 in August of 2013 for $1300, sold the collapsing stock for $375. Patience always rewards one with good deals.

no pic rail, charging handle, muzzle brake.

Not so certain about the M1 full length magazine tube, but my 1992 M1 fits the M2 forend perfect.

1.) There are two things that define a M1 and M2 barrel: the collar and the choke type. The Collar is a threaded chamber with rivets and the ejector. The M1 collar does not have a shoulder, the M2 does. This shoulder will prevent most M1 forearms from being attached (Late M1s had a cut-out for the shoulder) All M2 forearms will accept a shoulder or smooth taper. You can use a M2 barrel on a M1, you will need to file away plastic , use a surefire light, or use the matching M2 forearm. M2 Barrels use the "Crio Extended choke tubes", M1 use the older "mobil chokes" 2.) BenelliUSA MGW Brownells

Yes, One stored in my M3, and the other used moderately in my M1014.

One end was Ø15MM, other end was Ø14.75MM. Pitch appears to be 7MM.
-
I bought several of the M1014 receiver extensions (non-collapsing, because of California) with the original spring and assembly inside; never knew there was something special about them except that it was a little longer.

No unfortunately the paddle will not fit the M4, Vinci, Super Vinci and M3 Agency Exports.

Nothing wrong with stamped parts, heck the benelli Trigger guards are cheaply casted. I do not like the bolt welding, but it may be superior in strength to my M3. I think Beretta gave us a successful platform.
-
Whatever Beretta's decision may be, This should have been the TX4 of 2010. A hybrid of aggressive tacticool and 3-gun competition into one for under $1000.00. I will eventually pick one up and compare it to the M4.
-
I agree that is absurd of Benelli, but everything has increased in price today. The biggest spike being Sandy Hook between 2010- today. But you pointed out that the M4 was cheaper before, and I am stating the TX4 was more expensive than the 1301; makes me wonder how many corners were cut/what pointless stuff was added to the TX4.
-
Regardless, how did Beretta decide that a TX4 was worth $1600 in 2010 and now a 1301 is worth $1000? Only a few changes but in reality they are same gun underneath. Take a closer look at the Ghost ring base, it is a different shape with a more rounded profile. It does not have LPA on the right side either.
-
I agree that barrel without chokes are superior for this role. Beretta manufactures barrel blanks for Benelli so quality is the same. But bear in mind the picitanny rail and ghost ring sight base are plastic.

Excellent Question Sukhoi_fan, I will explain to the best of my "internet knowledge": The old threaded stud(from brownells) is for the old H&K Import M3T, I think it is M19 X 1 - 6g THREADS. I have several M3s and I wanted to use the pistol grip for my newer M3, the threads on those are M21 x 1 - 6g THREADS. I do not know if Benelli designed a new threaded stud, just used the old receivers for folding stock, or changed the pistol grip inside for Europe M3 top folders. Also for those that do not know, you can't have a folding/telescopic/retracting/sliding/etc... stock on a semi auto shotgun, but you can have a stockless semi auto shotgun in California (It would count as other under the paperwork). Makes total sense So this also persuaded me to mess around with my M3 like this.
-
Yes it is a M3.

Mossberg 500 Persuader doesn't even compare.

yup, leave it alone. Having actually used EDM, that should not happen at this process.
-
M121 bolt, because the SL series and Premium Plus are chrome plated. M4 bolt because that is the only Benelli shotgun without an inertia spring
-
Yup, i saw alot of nice walnut on ebay for less than 100... should have gotten some
-
I almost bought one..... because we (California) cannot have the LAW-2 or SPAS-12. -LPA TC-82 rear sight -Identical gas system as LAW-12 -A&W diverter choke standar, some had ported muzzles -Unlike the SPAS-12 and LAW-12, The HK-512 does not have a magazine delay button -Action bars and bolt same as SPAS-12 and LAW-12 -Not an NFA weapon as some assume
-
Yeah, and I don't like Midwestgunwork's return policy:mad: Brownells at least let me return them and get my money back.
-
I actually have one set from midwestgunworks and one from brownells..... both have a mismatched finish:mad:
