say more... I think I've tried every possible light mounting solution out there (and some custom ones) and have yet to find something that's "just right" for me. I want to mount the light further ahead to minimize/eliminate shadow while being able to tuck in as close to the barrel/mag tube as possible (preferably right in between the barrel/tube) for a streamlined look, while being strong enough to take the recoil/beating. Curious to see what you come up with!

pretty much... that's how I picked up mine up from Omaha (checking every day). And I was signed up for email alerts but got nothing~

I noticed I kept burning just my left thumb at times during reload when hot. I looked into heat shield options but didn't like the aesthetics of anything I saw out there so I got a bit creative and just re-purposed an offset m-lok scout light mount to the top of my AA handguard and put grip tape over it giving me about an inch right above the barrel where my thumb would normally touch. No more hot thumb since. I can post pictures for reference later when home.

I have the round Benelli Parts oversized bolt release on my setup and I love it. I definitely wanted something round and not rectangular like most others; this was mostly a visual/appearance thing for me. I saw FFT's round option shortly after I installed the Benelliparts one, but can't say I was a fan of the knurling on them / looked a bit out of place to me. I do really like how the benelliparts one looks with the 1/2" FFT charging handle as they are both the same size (round 1/2") and they line up perfectly visually.

Never really thought about it before and so far haven't had any issues, but am a bit concerned now that you bring it up. I'll have to play around with the routing / see if I can have it go under the rail instead of in between the barrel/mag tube.

RJHUB, I ended up going with the PLHv2 head as I wanted a little bit more spill/flood over the OKW and I'm absolutely happy with it.

Soo... anyone want to sell me their Agency Arms M4 rail system? I've had one on backorder for 3 months now and I've seen the estimated ship date go from August, then September, then October, and now April of 2022 (!!). It's the last item I'm waiting for to finish my build and am getting a bit antsy. Let me know, thanks!
