Would love to see more info on this. I am still wanting to get the M4 A.I. Drone Guardian.
-
Good choice. You won't regret it. Personally, I think it even looks better. I am so glad I switched to the field stock. It feels better it looks better it shoots better.
-
I had the fixed pistol grip on my M4 when I first got it. Hated it. I put the Field stock on and absolutely love it. It feels great and even though the numbers are the same the field stock feels much shorter than the fixed pg stock and shoots much better.
-
It's the best choice.
-
Yes, I have heard of this happening, but I have never experienced this issue myself, even though I run my M4 hard. It has held up with zero issues.
-
I didnt like the size of the 3/4. The 1/2 looks much better as well imo than the 3/4. The GGG is also a good brand but I just like the FFT more. The material, fit and finish as well as the customer service is all top notch.
-
I have the FFT charging handle and bolt release, and they are amazing in build and quality. I have had zero issues with either of them, and I run my M4 hard. I have the 1/2 charging handle and have had no problems with it. I highly recommend the FFT over the others.

My exact setup with exception of the stock. Mine is a field stock and red dot is a 509T. Other than that our shottys are twins lol

I like the field stock wayyyy more than the pg stock. Feels so much better and I think looks better

M4 entry aftermarket barrel or bite the bullet on the real deal?

Honestly, I would go OEM. I Plan on getting another M4 and doing the same thing. For your tube I would recommend either Carrier Comp or Freedom Fighter Tactical. Both are great companies with great owners. Whatever you do I would HIGHLY recommend you stay away from anything that is made directly for the Benelli. All of these knockoff brands have had continous QC issues and you will save yourself a big headache in the long run. -
M4 entry aftermarket barrel or bite the bullet on the real deal?

My first question is, do you have a legit Benelli M4 or is it a knock-off? If it is a legit M4 then spend the money and get the OEM. Do not expect the cheap Turknelli parts to fit on a legit M4. There have been countless issues with people trying to put those cheap parts on a BM4 and it never quite working out right and even when they do they end up having issues in the long run and end up getting the OEM If you do have a Turknelli then I would say go for the BRM barrel and hope for the best. If you are not experienced in fitting parts to firearms I would suggest you take it to a gunsmith and have them fit the barrel to make sure it all goes together correctly. Hope this info helps, if you have any more questions please do not hesitate to ask. 😊 -

I guess this would depend on what you are using it for and how you plan on obtaining it. If for duty use and depending on your department I would put in an equipment acquisition form and talk with your range master, armor, or leadership and see what they say and if it has been approved for service. This can be a long process if your department has not already approved it. If the weapon has not been approved then this would be a good opportunity for you to do the leg work. You would need to talk with department personal to determine the total cost of equipment including any maintenance and training cost. After the budget has been determined then you would need to contact distributors/suppliers and get quotes/bids from them, if your department does not already have a supplier they work directly with. You may have to send an RFP (Request for Proposal) outlining exactly what you are looking for. This form is usually copy paste and can be sent to all suppliers. Again, this is all depending on your specific department. After receiving quotes then talk with department personal, usually finance department as well leadership to see if it is something your department is willing to do. Sometimes, again, depending on your department, your local city council may have a say in this too. POST Commission may have a say in this as well, but standards and procedures have changed so much over the years they have included the Benelli as a standard practice, so this may not be an issue. If you do not want to go this route then you would need to do it the same as the rest of us and build it out yourself. That is an expensive process that you will for sure be paying for. If you really want the 14" barrel even though you are LE my understanding is that you would still need to Form 1 it if not used for duty. As far as I know, and I may be wrong, what you are looking for does not exist in that configuration outside of department/agency request. So basically, long story short, either one, have your department supply it for you or, two, supply it for yourself. I would personally try the first and see where you get with that. If your department has not approved it or willing to get it then you will need to source it yourself. Hope this helps. If you need any more help or questions please do not hesitate to ask.

I mean it will work for sure for hd no problem. It does not light up the room as much as the non turbo, but it will work. I have the non turbo for my home defense and have the turbos on everything else. So for my hd rifle and pistol I have the non turbo and on my carry pistol and shotgun I have the Turbo. I also carry the EDC1 DFT for everyday carry. It is the turbo handheld version. But my bedside handheld flashlight is the Nitecore SRT7i which is a BEAST of a light and basically lights up every corner of my house when on full power and is built like a tank. Trying to figure out the right light for you can be trial and error. I have a ton of flashlights that I have carried and mounted on weapons and take hunting and camping and carry for edc. Some work great for what I want and some not so good. Not that they are not good flashlights for other purposes, but did not fit exactly what I wanted. If you plan on using your flashlight for dual purpose then the turbo will work fine. I have multiple flashlights for multiple reasons. In the winter up here we have very little sun and spend most of our time in the dark, so flashlights are a big deal for me. Do not hesitate to ask me any other questions you may have. Hope this helps.

Yes, I like the throw over spill when using outside but just remember that the turbo has very little spill. So it seems like it does not light up as much around you. I can try to post some pictures for you to show difference. But where I live the sun doesnt set until about 2330 so I will see what I can do but there are a bunch of videos on Youtube that shows this as well. Hope this info helps and if you have anymore questions please feel free to ask.

The throw. I have a few different Surefires both Turbo and not and depending on the application and what you are using them for. If strictly for home defense then the scout light will be just fine. I spend a lot of time in the woods and mountains and having the ability to see a little further is nice with the turbo. Everyone has different reasons and applicatons. It would depend on what you are doing.
-
I run the Surefire Turbo with a Unity Axon SL switch and love it. I would say if you are getting a Surefire just get the Turbo but the Streamlights are great too. If you are going to put a switch on it I would say go Surefire but if it is just going to be a stand alone light then the Streamlight will work great. Hope this helps. 🙂
