  1. Will they be able to remove all of these post? This is crazy
  2. Ok, this is his response: Hi, Thanks, we’re out of the hand guards and have been for several months. I hope to have some more after the first of the year. The stocks are just a Benelli branded stock from another model of Benelli shotgun. SBE, or M1 maybe. We’ll make it known if/when we get more on hand.. So I guess they were able to figure out that the stocks for another Benelli shotgun works also for the M4. I am going to do some more research and find out which one does, or if anyone might already know which one fits the M4 and let us know that would be great.
  3. Wilson Combat makes some great oils that I have been using for years on my 1911 and polymer pistols. I have just been using the oil supplied with the shotgun and it has been working fine with no issues, but once that stuff is gone I will be using the Wilson Combat oil.
  4. I'm going to call them on Monday. He put his number on the post on his Instagram and says to call. I think I am going to get one of them if the pricing is right. Since it is a custom stock I think they should be able to shorten the LOP on it so it is not as long as the OEM standard stock. If they can make a custom walnut stock with a short LOP I think I am going to get it. Ill keep you updated.
  5. I did find a company that makes custom wood stocks for the Benelli M4, Cotton Branch Custom. I found them on Instagram and it actually looks really good. I am considering getting this stock or at least some kind of standard field stock. I think the wood stock or a custom stock like the Agency field stock would be really good. I have given up on trying to find a Benelli adjustable that doesn't cost 600+ dollars. I don't mind paying a few bucks to get what I want, but I'm not playing this gouging price game with people. Anyway, hope this helps on this extremely old thread lol.
  6. Please share with us sir your experience and background on these weapons. I for one am very interested to hear from others who have experience in this subject. Learning is something I take very seriously and will respectfully hear what you say on the subject. If you so chose to of course.
  7. Don't worry, take your time and do it right. When done, we will all be here ready to throw our money at you.
  8. Others in the comment made the same statement. There is actually quite a debate in the comments about it. It is actually pretty funny. There are some issues I have with what was said, but I would like to know what you guys all think about it.
  9. What do you guys think of this? Is your shotgun your go-to bedside weapon for home defense? If not what is?
  10. My son just finished Basic, AIT, and jump school these past few months. He is now in the 82nd Airborne as a Combat Engineer at Ft. Liberty(Bragg). He was so excited on getting to use the M4 because we had shot it so much before he left and he trained with it. When he got to the breaching part of his course on how they teach them how to breach different doors, walls, etc, and when they got to talking about using shotguns to breach his drill instructor pulled out the M26 MASS. My son said his heart fell lol. He asked them about the M4 and they said that the M4 will no longer be used in the Army for breaching and will be removed from rotation at least for the average soldier. Maybe SF still has them or uses them, but no longer for the average soldier. Kinda sad, because he said the MASS absolutely sucks and the recoil and handling on it is horrible.
  11. Sidewalk chalk? Can you explain more about how you use sidewalk chalk for target practice? Sounds interesting.
  12. Any steel target is going to be a pain even if they are small. Maybe check out Infinity Targets and see of that might be something that you would like. I have not tried them yet, but I plan on getting some. Saw some videos on them and they are actually pretty cool.
  13. Good questions. I am currently in your potion as well and in the middle of a cool build for my M4 and I am kinda stuck on the trigger issue as well. Not sure if I should send it in or have my gunsmith do a drop in etc. Would love to hear some more insight from some guys on here that are further down the road than us. I know some guys have talked about it, but I just love talking about it even more lol.
  14. Yeah for sure. Give it a try and see how you like it and how it feels. Let us know how it goes for you, your experience can help others trying to make the same decisions.
  15. I have the newer Benelli model and after reading this I checked it to see if it does and I'm sorry to say, no, it does not. The grip sleeve will pull down if I mess with it a lot and I noticed that it will start to slip after about 100 rounds, it is nothing drastic or making the gun fail, just a little that I have noticed. But as far as the grip having side-to-side movement mine does not and it is solid as a rock. Hope this helps.
  16. Now, this is all my opinion and to be honest you ask 20 people this question you will probably get 20 different answers. The way I set up my sling as a right-hand shooter is one contact on the left side of the weapon typically at the midway point or closer to the receiver and the other contact point at the midway point on the right side of the stock. For my rifle, I have a QD connection on the buffer tube plate so it's kind of on the bottom I guess you could say, but I like that because I will transition from double to single point if doing certain tasks so having it there works great for me. I have trained and practiced with this setup along with trying it in different ways and this way works best for me. I would say for you to take your gear out somewhere where you can practice transitions and movement with different sling points and see what works best for you. Once you find the most comfortable natural spots then train that way and be consistent. As for slings, I only use two and that is the Magpul MS4 Dual QD and the Blue Force Gear Vickers non-padded sling. I have tried others but they did not fit me right and other little things are personal. Both I believe fall within your price range. My biggest advice to you is to practice with different setups and find what fits you then go out into the field and do some different drills to see how well that works when actually shooting. Others may have better thoughts than I do on this subject, but I figure I throw my two cents in and maybe help you along the way. A lot of very experienced and smart men on this forum who might have better tips for you. Hope this helps.

  18. Man, those are so freakin cool!
  19. Stupid question, does it come with the stock choke?

    M4 heatshield

I believe he was selling them, but for obvious reasons, went out of stock pretty quickly. There is a waitlist, but maybe RXArms can clarify that for us.

    M4 heatshield

RX Arms makes a heatshield for the M4 and it is really really nice. The only other thing that I know of that comes close to that would be the Briley forearm. It doesn't completely cover the barrel on the top but it does give you the ability to hold up on it higher than the stock forearm.
