Well first off, welcome to the Benelli forums!!!! I hope you enjoy your time here and learn as much as I have from all the great guys on here. I'm glad the list of companies has helped you, I am currently working on something that will be a type of FAQ so new people can reference when finding parts and companies for the Benelli shotguns, still needs more work and want to clear it with the other mods first. As far as two point slings go, there are a couple threads of guys posting all their recommendations if you want to see more, just look it up in the search. My personal favorite for the shotgun is the Larry Vickers Blue Force Gear non padded. That is my personal choice and what I train with and I love it. Others will have their favorites. My suggestion is if you can go down to the store and check them all out and see what you like the most. Hope this info helps!

Will a benelli field stock fit onto an m3 LE (11608)?
John Doe replied to Cheeseburger's topic in Benelli
Fair enough. I like the M3 as well but I really wanted to get the M4 first because ever since I was a kid and saw them being used by the military I fell in love with them. I plan on getting the M3 also as soon as I finish building on my M4. Hope it all works out for you. Post some pics when you get it, would love to see them. -

John Doe replied to Cheeseburger's topic in Benelli
@Cheeseburger Just out of curiosity, why have you chosen to get the M3 over the M4? -
Yeah for sure. It is a bit old, I think it came on around 2010ish, but the info and training is for sure top notch and very valuable lessons that a new shotgunner or seasoned vet will find useful.

Nice. This will go quick.

Well looks like this is going to stay up for very long. How much?

It looks like the SPCS KDH Magnum Tac 1. It is the plate carrier currently being used by the US Army. Had to ask my son and he sent me some pics of his plate carrier, he is currently serving in the 82nd Airborne as a Combat Engineer. They look a lot alike, but I could be wrong. My son's plate carrier has a lot of extra stuff on it such as side armour and drop pouches etc, but they look a lot alike. I use the Agilite K19 plate carrier with IV plates, my son wants me to send him my setup because when he came home from leave and tried it out he said it was much better than what he has in his unit lol. Currently saving up to send him a kitted out version of the K19. EDIT: Ok, so talking with my son some more right now about it and the exact model and brand name of his current setup and it is called the MSV and not the SPCS, he said the SPCS is the old one that the MSV just replaced. Either way, like I said it looks a lot like his carrier system, but again not sure. Maybe email or ask the seller to check the tag for the name of the system. Hope this info helps.

Just finished watching this video and it is amazing. I am definitely going to watch it again and go out and practice a lot of these techniques. The trainers in the video are Chris "The Beard" Costa and Travis "Not Garandthumbs dad" Haley. I have been trying to find the full DVD set, but only found one on Amazon for I think $80, but to be honest, I think it is worth it. I know it is a bit long, but it is worth it I think. A lot of really good information and training information that is well worth considering for anyone who considers using their shotgun in a serious protection role. They go over in depth the pump and auto shotguns in almost every way you can think of how you are going to use this weapon platform. Give it a look and let me know what you guys think.

Same. Yes, I agree it would be nice if it was more flush, but again it hasnt caused me any issues, yet, lol.
-
Really? That sucks, have you tried running the critical defense rounds from Hornady?
-
Why is that a design quirk? Has it caused you any issues or been damaged? I do agree that it would be nice to have something that is made to the same quality and sat flush, but ultimatley it has been a non-issue and would only be a preference and not an absolute need I guess. Curious, would you trade in your Airidus and replace it with Esstac cards? If yes, why? If no, why?
-
Thanks for the info, that is very interesting that they did that.
-
I don't know about a TON of weight. The Airidus setup is actually pretty light for what it is and does not add any real significant weight to the weapon, imo, but I am also a pretty big guy and the weight of my weapons does not bother me. That is unless you planning on doing any real work with it such as hunting etc, then yeah it will start to bother anyone. This is true, but a lot of the ones I see people carry are the 6-shot over the 7 because it becomes too much and takes up a lot of space on the receiver with the 7-shot card. This is not to say that people dont have the 7-shot because there are a lot that do, but I see a lot of people also running the 6-shot. And again the Airidus is not that bulky and the weight is almost nonexistent. You can remove the Airidus carriers as well and they fit perfectly in an AR pouch. What do you mean by serious users? Most people that I have read and talked to that use the shot cards over the Airidus is due mostly to price. When you look at the Airidus up front cost of $185 and $50 for extra carriers over say Esstac which is $15, so yeah most go with the Esstac or similar shot card not because of the things you mention, but for the price point. I would be curious to talk to someone else who has used both systems and in the end chose to go with the Esstac shot cards over the Airidus.

I fully endorse and recommend the Airidus Industries QD Universal side saddle. It works amazingly well and has held up to everything that I have thrown it through. Some would recommend the Esstac velcro side saddles or mesa but with the Airidus side saddle you can have extra carriers in your AR mag pouches and they are built of aluminum I believe and are very tough.(EDIT: You can also carry the Esstac velcro holders in your AR mag pouches as well but, I found them to be too flimsy and will have to buy more over time as they wear out) They also look so much better attached to the M4 imo over the velcro ones. The only downside to them that I have found is that they are a bit pricey, but that is kinda the name of the game when dealing with Benellis. If you can get past the price point you will never regret getting it.

Understood. Do what you think is best, you are not running a charity lol. Even still I am considering and will keep a look out for end product and reviews. Keep up the good work sir!
-
Wow. This is actually pretty cool. I am now considering it. As much as I love my Briley hand guard this heat shield is really nice. The only thing I don't like is that I have to buy the optic rail. Maybe a bundle package would be nice, just a thought. Good work sir.

Their customer service is A+++ and the product is a 10/10. I personally do not like the 2 round extension but that's just my thoughts others may like them. Oh the infamous Black River products. Yeah, I have tried emailing them multiple times and have never received a response from them and I have yet to find a review of anyone putting one on their legit Benelli M4. They are a Turkish manufacturing company so to say and they put them on their faknellis so I would not spend the money personally on it, but if you do and it works out please let us know. I see a lot of people who like the midwest handguards and I have heard of some that dont. I have the 13" Briley hand guard and absolutley love it and would fully recommend it to anyone wanting a new handguard on their M4. https://www.briley.com/p-63643-briley-3gun-m-lok-handguard-benelli-m4.aspx Hope this info helps out and points you in the right direction. Things to put on your shotgun are very subjective to the individual and some may like certain items and some will not so it will be up to you to do as much research as you can to find what you need and want. Let us know what you end up going with and please share some pics I would love to see them.

Yeah, I don't recommend that ammo either. I bought a bunch of it and it shot like crap. Stick with either slug or buck. I would recommend Ddupleks for slugs. you can safely shoot those slug rounds all the way up to a full choke with no problems. But again, this goes back to all the choke questions, which I also had a bunch, and there are tons of post on this topic if you search this forum for it. Hope this helps.
-
Choke sizes are a big topic. There are quite a few post on here about them and different slugs and choke use. I personally run a full choke with Ddupleks slugs. That has been my go-to, and I have made post on here about them. If you are using foster style slugs then a modified choke SHOULD be fine, but I suggest you do more research on that yourself. I like Carlson chokes and Benelli chokes. Again you may get different answers on this subject because it can be very subjective to the individual shotgun. Search this forum on the topic and you should get back some results. Hope this helps.

I found only two places that carry in the US/Canada. https://christiansencomponents.com/product/tst-benelli-m4-polymer-stock/ USA https://tacord.com/product/toni-system-tst-stock-benelli-m4/ Canada The Canadian store has 2 left in stock, but I dont know how ordering stuff like this from Canada works. I will contact them on Monday and see what they say. The US site does allow for email notifications, but again how long is that going to take before they get any in. I will also contact them on Monday and see what they say.
-
Yeah,I have checked every one of their distributers that they have listed on their website on none of them had the stock in stock only other parts that toni makes. Ill go back and check again.
-
I currently have the field stock installed on mine and love it. It feels much shorter than the og pistol grip stock that came with mine. Even though the specs are the same as the og pistol grip it tucks into shoulder much much better. The reason I want the Toni systems stock is for the QD points and some other features that it has that I think are way better than the og field stock.
-
Where did you buy the stock? I have been searching everywhere for weeks to buy it but no one sells it state side.
-
Not unless you have the LE version. I thought I had to do that too and spent 80 bucks on those stupid washers and ended up finding out I did not need them. The Briley will drop right in with no issues. That was my experience at least.
