Yeah, I'm not sure on this. I installed the FFT oversized bolt release. I never liked the idea of those "speed bars". I would say to cough up the money for the overside button from GG&G or FFT. Sorry, I know this doesn't help you much.

Dang, im sorry to hear you are having trouble with it. I can not think of what else may be the issue. Maybe contact Benelli and see what they can do for you. Keep us updated

Yes, well, kinda. I have the Scalarworks mount with a Holosun 509T and the Blitzkrieg chevron. They work out great for me and I love them. It is a good setup and I have run my M4 hard and neither has moved an inch. I have not used the RXArms sight, but everything he makes is quality, so im sure it will work out for you.

You fully removed the Airidus Mount??? Why?
-
So, how much does it weigh?
-
It could be. Did you replace spring when installing new mag extension or is it OEM? Is the spring getting kinked up or is it bent? Maybe buy a new spring and see what happens or if anyone else here has any thoughts on this subject. https://www.carriercomp.com/carriercomp-benelli-magazine-tubes/z1-custom-wolff-springs/

Nice. Where can you buy them?
-
Just weighed it and it comes in at 11.2 lbs fully loaded

So, I think I finally have my M4 how I want it. Just got back from the mountains and shot about 300 rounds of #6 bird, 3" 000 Federal buck, 3" Federal slugs, Breneke 3" Black Magic Magnum slug, Federal 8 pellet and 9 pellet 00 buck flite control, Hornandy Critical Defense 00 buck, and Ddupleks Monolit 32 slugs. I am fully convinced that the Benelli M4 is by far the best shotgun currently in existence. I was sure before but now I will accept no other shotgun being anywhere near comparable to the Benelli M4. Here are a couple pictures of my current build and item list. Briley 3gun Modified Mobil Choke Nordic Components plus 1 Mag extension Blitzkrieg Components chevron front sight Surefire Scout light Duel fuel turbo Surefire Dual switch Tailcap assembly Unit Axon SL Mlok switch Briley 3gun Mlok 13" handguard 15 G10 Railscales in Matrix pattern from 1 slot to 4 slot Magpul Mlok AFG Briley Stage Saver Railscales QDX Sling mount Vickers Blue Force Gear sling Airidus Industries 6-round Universal Quick Detach Carrier Scalarworks Sync/01 mount with Holosun 509T-X2 Briley Trigger shoe Freedom Fighter Tactical No-Spin 1/2 steel charging handle Freedom Fighter Tactical Oversized Bolt Release Benelli Field Stock Thinking about a couple items that I might consider for it is the new Chisel Machine pistol grip stock, A&S Trigger Housing, and maybe open up the loading port and lengthen forcing cone. But to be honest after spending some time with this beast of a shotgun I dont think I need to do anything else to it. The current setup is beyond amazing and will do anything I will need it to do.

Local gunsmith should be able to do that with no problem. There are also videos online of people doing it themselves if you were interested in doing that. Im sure Rose Action Sport could help you out. He is on here a lot and does amazing work. I would recommend them if you wanted anything like that done.

If I could recommend, do not shoot it anymore unless you have to. As Franklinepress has said, call Benelli as soon as possible and get it to them. Shooting it anymore currently can cause more damage or injury. Hope this info helps.

Be patient. I know that is hard to hear when you can probably order from somewhere else and get it shipped next day. But these tubes are beautiful and are perfect. From my understanding, the company is run by two people so they are probably in the middle of getting another batch done. Just know your wait will be greatly rewarded once you get it.

I use Wilson Combats Universal lube and Lite lube. Depending on the weather and how much I am shooting is to which one I use. The Universal Lube is a little thick, but works great in the Benelli.

I would suggest you do a full breakdown and clean and lube it. Use some snap caps to do a function check of weapon. Keep an eye on your carrier and articulating latch and make sure they are operating as normal. If everything is operating as normal, then take a box of slugs, buck, and bird, then see what happens during live fire. If after doing all that and it is still malfunctioning then record what is happening exactly and let us know. Hope this helps.

Why Aimpoint?

7 round mag tube will sit about flush with your barrel. I am not sure what companies exactly fit the M2.
-
How cool would that be lol
-
Get a Scalarworks Sync mount and be done with it. You wont be disappointed.

As much as I love and respect RXarms and all his products and what he does, I would suggest you go with a full length American Made mag tube for the 922. As stupid as that "law" is and as much as I and many others, disagree with it, I would say it is better to be safe than sorry. Just get the American Made full length tube and all the other parts and I think you will be fine. Some will say, who cares, and just to build it the way you want, but I and they are not lawyers nor is anything I say legal advice nor should you just listen to anyone on the internet. If you are concerned with it then maybe contact a lawyer or reach out to the ATF for clarification for you. Hope this info helps. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask anytime. Also, fyi, If you call Freedom Fighter Tactical, im sure he would be more than happy to give you his thoughts on the subject as well, oh, and im sure try to sell you some, um, very expensive parts lol.

So, for the first question, IMO I would recommend you get an American Made full tube replacement. You will have much better experience than with the "plus 2". I 100% recommend CarrierComp for the 7 round tube. For the sling, it will be personal prefrence. I run a Vickers Blue Force and love it. Others use different slings to their liking. Slings are somewhat subjective to the end user. I love Streamlight lights and have a few, but like you, I was worried about recoil. I have seen many people run a Streamlight on their Benellis and have had no reported issues that I am aware of. Personally, I use a Surefire M640-Pro Duel Fuel Scout light. I love this light and have had zero issues with it. Again that will be up to you. I would recommend you try to stay away from chinese lights, like the O-Light or Nitecore lights. Nothing wrong with those lights and I own a few of them and love them but would not trust them on a shotgun. Some guys do and report they have had no issue with it but I suppose it would depend on your usage. I think a Streamlight will be just fine but come on, this is a Benelli M4, get the Surefire lol. I am not a big fan of Benellis C-Stocks. I personally do not like how they feel or look. I have a field stock on mine and got rid of the pistol grip but with that being said I am very tempted right now to pre-order the Chisel Machine stock they are about to release. It looks really good and I like the grip and mechanics of it. Now because I do not like the Benelli C-stocks does not mean I do not like c-stocks at all I just dont like Benellis lol. This will be up to you moving forward. Some guys love them some guys hate them. Maybe try to get your hands on one in your LGS and see how you like it. I hope this helps you moving forward. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Please keep us updated on what you go with.

This is an interesting subject. The day I bought my Benelli I bought about 200 rounds of #7 bird and ran through all of those rounds without a single issue. Since then I have run pretty much everything you can legally buy off the shelf (I can't order ammo online they will not ship it to me where I live) and I have not had a single malfunction. The only rounds that did not cycle for me were the non-lethal rounds. I hear people say that they have had issues with their Benelli not cycling certain ammo, not many but a few, and I always think why? Why do so many people not have an issue cycling anything, yet, there are people who do. Anyone out there have any theories on this?

Yes for sure. We can help you out, but we need to know exactly what you need help with. Unless I am misunderstanding the post. Ask whatever questions you may have.
