I wouldn't use the handguard. I would only use the stock personally.
-
Oh man, I want that wood stock so bad but I couldn't find it anywhere. There is one company that I mentioned in another post that carried them, but they said it was a wood stock that goes for another Benelli model but fits the M4 as well. Are those stocks walnut? PLEASE let us know how it goes with these parts I want to see an actual Benelli rocking one of these wood stocks.

It was brightt wasn't it? LOL

Looks good. But also looks like a SBS and it probably feels a lot better with it on. I'm playing around with a Magpul-angled grip on mine and seeing how well it works out. So far it feels good, but that means nothing until it feels good while running drills and using it. To be continued....
-
🤣 Well, you won lol. Post pics when you get it on.

Sorry, just got home from work and saw this. I'm in the camp of the first one to show the money is the first one to get it. You snooze you lose. No hard feelings I say.

Pics? Condition?

I mean I get it. I am a bit of a bibliophile and have some pretty rare books that I have spent more on than this charging handle, so there are dumb people like me out there lol. But man I can't seem to bring myself to pay that much for that specific item. Good luck OP, hope you get what you want for it. Please keep us updated.

$500 for a charging handle????? Why??? What makes it so special?

The Mk 23.... My unicorn.....

Ok, got it. It looked like the setup for your white light too. Yeah having it just for the mawl is not a big issue as you said. I agree with you for the most part about taking your firing grip off, yet I have practiced enough with it and can get back in proper firing stance quick enough, but yeah it isn't for everyone. You have a pretty cool build too. I think the mawls and peqs are pretty cool for what they do, but I don't run nvg's so I never had a use for them, back to what you said earlier, don't just put stuff on your weapon just because everyone else is doing it. You have the proper equipment for it so it makes sense.
-
Are you left-handed? The way you describe how you manipulate your weapon sounds like you are a lefty. I don't ever remove my support hand from reloads on my shotgun as I have become proficient with violin loading. I have been able to get my times pretty fast, but when I do it my support hand never leaves the front of the shotgun as I flip it and remove rounds from the shell carrier. What has helped tremendously with that is getting rid of the PG stock on my M4 and putting on a field stock, which I absolutely love. But that is why to me when I have done my drills it feels like I can get a better purchase on a shotgun with say an angled grip, but just because it "feels" like it might be better doesn't mean it is going to. Yet, if it is something that I can work with and train with then fine, if that means my wife and daughters can get a better grip on it and be able to control it better then I am all for it. We shall see with the shotgun, but I have a foregrip on my rifle and that will never change. I use a c-grip and wrap around three around the front of the rifle and the bottom two fingers use it as leverage, I don't know how else to describe it. I'm not a big fan of the hot buttons. I think the concept is cool, but every time I have run one they always get in the way of having a good grip or I have an accidental light discharge and it drives me crazy, so I pulled them off. Probably could get more comfortable with them if I train more with them, but I honestly feel like it is just another button or contraption to worry about. I know guys that run them amazingly well with no issues after long hours of training, but again each their own. I like my rifle as plain Jane as you can get, not a lot of extra stuff on it.

Those damn skinwalkers! We will wipe them all out eventually.

I have the Aridus on my M4 and it is freakin awesome. I would recommend it over the Esstac and this Mark precision one any day of the week.
-
So, in your opinion, what is the difference between having one on your rifle compared to having one on your shotgun?
-
I plan on putting one on mine to help my wife get a better purchase of the weapon. I have been doing some modifications on my M4 to help my wife and daughters better handle it, so I am going to put one on it and see if it helps. I dont see why more people dont use them. I have one on my AR and most people do, but I hardly ever see people put them on their shotguns.

Airborne, we talked about this sir, it is for vampires.
-
Yes sir, I understand what you are saying, yet I was not expecting the mods to completely disregard their families in any way nor would I ever expect or demand them to. With that being said, if you willingly choose to be in a position that requires consistent attention then please do so. If you can't then that is ok, then give it to others who can be. It took them a couple of clicks of a mouse to remove and block the offender, it wasn't a long arduous task that took them any significant time. Again, there are others here who can do that and are willing to. As one poster has shown, some of these moderators have not been on here in a long very time and to be honest that just is not acceptable. I am sorry if I upset you and caused you to be angry at myself or others that is not my intention and I am not here to troll or upset people at all whatsoever. I love this forum and talking with others about our passion for Benelli. I just hope maybe you can find it in your heart to apologize for your comments as well and that we can all move on from this and hope that the moderators do better in the future. Take care sir and God Bless.

Understood. Thank you for the response.

Not sure why you are so upset about all of us making a reasonable complaint about the situation. If it doesn't bother you then great, move along, but please don't criticize me for having an expectation that a forum should function within its own stated capacity. I am not upset about a minuscule thing here. Please for future interactions if you could be so kind as to refrain from being overtly confrontational and bitter towards those who have standards for how a site is supposed to be run, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you sir and God bless.

Here is a pretty good video that shows the disassembly of the Benelli M4. I have found some of this info useful and maybe it could help you.

Does anyone know how to go about signing up to be an admin? Could we, average members recommend people? I will recommend a few of you on here for sure to do it or whoever has an interest in doing so. This is crazy that this entire forum can be hijacked like that. We use this board quite frequently and it is not like it is some dead forum that nobody uses. Any info on who to contact at Benelli or whoever runs this site would be greatly appreciated so maybe we can all call them or email them and let them know who among us should have admin powers.

How does one go about becoming a moderator? As mentioned here, there are a few retired gentlemen who can run it, and Im sure others who are on here consistently. Is there some way to register with Benelli in order to do so, or are they employees of Benelli?
