tucker301
Buy a keyboard with a working Shift key. With any leftover money, buy as much Benelli as you can. M2 LH or SBEII LH.

tucker301
I mean if you can afford the upgrade, buy the SBEII. If not, buy the M2.

shotgunNoob
Buy a keyboard with a working Shift key.Don't let this guy get to you too much. He's the resident "smart ass" (but, he does know his sh*t). I mean that in the most benign way. For autoloaders, based on personal opinion and research, Id go with Benelli. In terms of which model, I cant say. This would be the place to find info on that, however. BTW- If you cant find the answer(s) you seek here, try this link: http://www.thehighroad.org/index.php But, at the highroad, you might find that most are Remington fanboys. No offense whatsoever to those guys. It is a great website. Im just forewarning you. Edited January 10, 2009 by shotgunNoob
tucker301
The same recommended minimum load for the SBEII applies for the M2 as well. They're both Inertia guns and they're not made for girly loads at the trap range.
Matt D
I have both a LH SBE II and a LH M2. Both are great guns. If I had to have one it would be a SBE II. Sometimes a 3.5" will get the job done better than a 3".
waterfowler050
id have to agree tucker is on about every thread and always has his 2 cents. but i respect it. i think i will go with the m2 unless otherwise convinced. has anyone heard anything of the browning maxus . its a sharp looking gun
Duggan
Get the m2. Its been like 2 weeks we are overdue for another m2 "omg it has recoil wtf" thread. In all seriousness get the sbe ii if you can afford it. I've wondered about the extrema as well...
tucker301
The Maxus appears to be overly complex, but Browning does make a nice product usually.

At least the trigger on his keyboard is working, it did go "BANG" really loud in his openning post..... Slingadero
But, at the highroad, you might find that most are Remington fanboys. No offense whatsoever to those guys. It is a great website. Im just forewarning you. Most shotgunners are 870 fans. Probably 70% of internet 870 fans haven't even used any other pumps, but they still go about acting like it's the best pump in the world. It's a fine piece, don't get me wrong. But it's popularity causes people to overlook other fine pumps. Ithaca 37, Browning BPS, Winchester 1300, etc. As far as semi-autos go, honorable mentions would be: Benelli Remington 1100 and 11-87 Saiga 12 I can't really vouch for anything else. leftyone
I can tell you this, I've never shot the M2 but I have a LH SBE II and I absolutly love it. I've shot everything out of this gun from slugs to #8's and alot of BB and #2 steel shot in between.
