tyson129
Hello all...Being new to the forum and a new Supernova 12 ga owner as well as my first shotgun...Looking for opinions on how you carry extra shells while hunting...On the gun, sling, waist pack etc....and any links you may have...Thanks Welcome to the Forum! Great choice for your first gun. I personally carry extra shells in my right jacket pocket that are loose for those quick much needed extra shots and a box or two in my backpack. Some carry extras on the stock but I find that to be more tactical and I personally don't like the feel of anything on the butt of my gun. There are many other options but this is what works best for me. Good Luck and Congrats on your First Gun and First Benelli! Tyson
ishootkittens
glad to have you abboard! supernova is where its at! i carry 5 shells on a belt after i load my gun with as much as it will hold . but thats just me, if your turkey hunting or deer hunting with it you wont need much ammo, but for bird huntin just carry you a bookbag or a badass sling hahah. cksh8me
Bird hunting a vest with an open pouch for birds in the back. I may or may not throw a box of shells in there. Up front the vest has strong elastic loops to hold shells. Pockets up front for drinks/snacks. Padded shoulder on right side. Spreads the load out pretty good. Novaking
I use a shell bag and keep a about a box of different load it so I'm ready for anything.
Plowjockey
Awesome shotgun! I too, don't care for shells attached to my Supernova stock. I use a 6 round "wallet" from Cabelas. I carry it in my hunting knapsack, but it does have a belt clip. I think it was about $5.25 in camo.
truckcop
I use a belt carrier for my pheasant hunts (the only hunting I do).
GoBow
TC, Those belt carriers look like a nice rig. Great looking pup!

Throttlebender
I would love to know that shop's name. Could you message it to me please? I'm looking to get a supernova as my first shotgun as well. Thanks

I've used the same one for close to 50 years that my Dad gave me. Still works. Dave
