Duggan
Who makes the best ones? Meprolight seems to offer some ... http://www.centuriontactical.com/night-sights.htm Anyone used these? There better stuff out? The "factory" ones any good? http://www.calssportingarmory.com/BenelliAccessories.htm My eotechs are being used on other projects, so I am using irons, which got me craving tritium. Any ideas? meatwad
The green tritium lasts longest .The yellows and oranges fade out a bit quicker.

adamlau
You'll want to find the proper sized wrench for the front sight nut, as it is not included with the sight inserts. A 5.5mm (7/32") open ended midget wrench is what you will need.
RescueTech25
if you guys are going to arrange a group buy then count me in too
adamlau
Keep in mind that these sights do not illuminate as brightly as TRUGLO and other such sights do. The tritium points are much smaller to preserve the dark adapted vision of the operator. In fact, target acquisition in daylight conditions is generally much slower than with the factory sights. [email protected]
I'm using the Meprolight. I think they are a very dim and almost useless at night.
Lakotah
I'm using the Meprolight. I think they are a very dim and almost useless at night. You might have a problem with your set of sights. The meprolights I have a fairly bright and illuminate well. I have a set of on my 1911, and a set of Trijicons on my XD. The all seem bright to me but not overwhelming. I also have 20/10 in both eyes. So that might have something to do with it.
[email protected]
I also thought that. I also have Mepro brand on my HK .40 and they are nice and bright. Too bad I can't find anyone that caries them locally to compare.
