bm4sbs Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 For a short shorty, I want a removable mag fed beast. Can have 10+ rounds on a 8-12" platform. Quote
benelliwerkes Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Shot my Rem 870 7" and M4 -14" this weekend; about the same felt recoil. Quote
bm4sbs Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Holy Carp! The light is bigger than the gun. Blind em and you don't even need to shoot em. Quote
bm4sbs Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 My ideal for a shorty. Mag Fed Beast. 3-20 rounds on board. Quick Re-Load. 8" Barrel. Quote
benelliwerkes Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 A home invader dissuader rig ! I want to clearly see the threat. Quote

bm4sbs Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 R&R Targets Master Key. AK Based Shotgun basically. Cut down, AR ergonomics, same thing can be had with AR shoulder stock / fold-able stock, etc. I am fan because it solves the main problem with tube mag fed short shotties, that is: rounds on board. Getting an AK shotty to work like a watch takes alot of work. But it is done everyday, R&R is one such company that can make it happen. It ends up costing even more than a M4 though. Quote
No. 6 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Thanks. Not cheap for sure but interesting execution. Quote
StrangerDanger Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Took these today. Ran another 150 thru the build. Quote
StrangerDanger Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Thanks. Now you see why I like the Oregon scenery. Everything here is hot and sharp. That area is about five minutes from my house. The Colorado river can be seen off in the distance. Quote
Mikjk Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 StrangerDanger, Where can one purchase the front mag tube mounted QD sling mount you have on your M4? I would love to get one! Quote
StrangerDanger Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I made it. I chopped up a BLAM4 bracket so it's only job is to hold the QD socket. I had it cerakoted graphite black after I cut it down. The QD socket comes from IWC. I basically opened up one of the alignment holes to .500", and filled the threaded hole with epoxy for cosmetics. The rear mount from IWC is still on back order. Quote
bm4sbs Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Which IWC Mount are you going to use for the rear? I can't recall which one you are waiting on. Quote
StrangerDanger Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I'm putting the rear QD socket for the MOE stock through the tail stock until I can get a lathe to make the one we discussed. Quote
